It’s been a busy few weeks at Student Safety App! 🎓🛡️

We’ve been travelling across the UK, attending Freshers events and speaking to thousands of students about safety on and off campus.

It’s been fantastic to see so many students engaging not only with their own safety, but looking out for those around them too.

Here’s a short snippet from our time at Arts University Bournemouth! 🎥

ARTIST INTRODUCTION!
Hi I’m Mia, I just graduated from AUB Illustration with a 2:1 and this is everything i’ve done since then!
•
I helped paint @anymachine04 mural design with @ihaveriven at @castlepointshoppingpark for the Summer houses!
•
I participated in artfight 2026
•
I continued to share the devildog love at markets + in different countries! @mias.devildog
•
I opened my silly pet portrait commissions and had my first few come in 🫶 thank you!
•
I live illustrated with @rug_bird for a @health.sciences.university event!
•
I continued volunteering with @thestoryworkssouth bringing workshops full of writing and drawing to the Dorset area <3
•
I hand-painted 13 new bleached t-shirts for my small business in two days and have sold the majority of them already! (New stock coming soon) @bleached.asteroid
•
I continued making observational watercolour illustrations
•
I visited and applied to numerous art market stalls in my area and have some really exciting announcements coming up soon!
•
I had my first reel go absolutely viral and have had so much love and other people participating in the trend in the comments!
•
I went back to life drawing with @woking_lifedrawing after many many months off whilst finishing up my degree!
•
I completed an Ozzy Osbourne commission that i’d been working on for a while!
•
I released my 2026 INKTOBER prompts lists which I’m currently doing; ‘portraitober’ for the 3rd year running and now devildogtober which you can find over on @mias.devildog - both are free to join in wherever and whenever!
•
I participated in @aubsu Fresher’s Fair and has the best time ever; thank you so much to everyone who came to see my stall! @aubillustration @inspiredaub
•
I created three illustrations for @guildfordfestivalofthearts of local shops in Guildford that were on their Art Trail @papermoonbookshop @artandgrind and @newhouseartspace with @fridascoffeehouse
•
And lastly I volunteered with GFOTA with @grace_raggett_illustration and @rosieclearr filming content for their event and helping to promote the amazing Festival!!
•
All in all it’s been a very very productive few months and I hope to continue working this way as a freelancer!

I had a lot of fun designing all the assets for @aubsu freshers 2026!! It was so cool to see everyone with the tote bags at the fair last week :D
I’d say my favourite asset to make was definitely the tote design but I also really love the waving bee animation!!
