zeppelin and I stepped into the jumper ring for the first time together yesterday! we had some great rounds, and I’m super excited about the sj progress we’ve made. it was also fun to be back in this arena since it’s where checkmate and I had our first show back in 2020!

It’s hard not to dream big when you’re sitting on a horse like this. 🤍

HH Boost was an absolute star for our first recognized event together at Florida Horse Park Fall Horse Trials! He really showed his class in all three phases, and I couldn’t be happier with our first outing together!

We started the weekend with a 30.0 in dressage, with some really lovely moments and improvements throughout the test. Show jumping was a great learning experience as we continue to figure each other out and I learn where I need to be to give him the best ride. We finished the weekend with a fantastic cross country round, and I couldn’t be happier with how confidently he tackled everything asked of him!

So proud of this horse and everything we’re learning together. Looking forward to moving up at Majestic Oaks next month! ❤️

Couldn’t be happier with both horses in Ocala this past weekend!

So incredibly proud of V for leading our training division wire to wire and finishing on our dressage score for the win!🥇Working with her has been such a rewarding experience, and I’m thrilled with how she felt all weekend.

Having Gatsby back out competing after over a year off made this weekend even more special. He put in one of our best tests and finished on his dressage score of 29.7 for a third place finish!🥉He’s been feeling better than ever, and I’m so excited for what’s to come!

Thank you @salliej1996 and @julierichardseventing !!

Fun little grid lesson today with @edb_eventing !! Haven’t done these in a year and thought we’d be rusty, but of course he proves me wrong

Last week, we hosted our Equine Handling, Grooming and TPR meeting at Silver Lining Equestrian center! We are so thankful to @auburneventing for coming out and teaching us about horses, and for @silverliningec for hosting us at your facility! Members had the opportunity to gain hands on experience with taking vitals, grooming and in hand skills, and we finished out the night with dinner at our social at Waldo's! Thank you to all who came out, and we are so excited to see everyone this week at the Beef Unit for our large animal veterinary resident speaker!

Welcome to Flint Hill Farm 💙

Flint Hill Farm is an eventing-based horse training and boarding facility. The equestrian facilities is a small part of the 1,066 acre farm, just 30 miles from downtown Auburn. It’s a place where horses, riding, and college life all come together.
Our barn is home to a growing community of eventers, including members of the Auburn Eventing Team. We have three all-weather arenas with GGT footing that are irrigated daily and vertically drained, including a covered arena with lights and fans — perfect for keeping rides going through those Alabama summers or when the daylight ends before classes. Beyond the arenas, we have miles of trails, a cross-country field, a trot/gallop field, and plenty of turnout space, with horses turned out in small groups.
We also host clinics with top tier professionals, including Olympians and team coaches from around the world, giving our riders and the community the opportunity to lesson from some of the best in the sport.
We’re excited to share a little more of life at Flint Hill. Welcome along for the ride. 🐎
