Thank you to everyone who attended our first public roundtable "Contemporary Arts Writing in Egypt" at Tahrir campus! We especially want to thank our generous roundtable speakers: Alaa Abdelhamid, Lina Attalah, Nour El Safoury, Ismail Fayed, and Malak Helmy for their thoughtful and stimulating discussion on the recent (and entangled) history of Egyptian art and writing practices.

Keep an eye out for the event's audio recording that will be published online this week, as well as for our next public roundtable event later this year.
