got an inspiration to put this concept together at a very rough emotional point and had a great model who helped make the shoot shine. I was feeling incredibly dejected in a variety of ways and nearly quit photography all together. The image set from this shoot brought me back from that place and I haven’t really felt the desire to quit that way in quite a while.

my primary inspirations are film, album covers, and 80’s/90’s animation, and this shoot was an early example of that vibe.
