ENG: Romano Liu burst onto the Groningen scene as a super-ambitious artist and organizer, straight outta Hoogezand. Over the years, he’s established himself by not only performing on stage himself but also launching @spaces.gro, a fantastic initiative! We’re thrilled to have him on stage with us on Tuesday. Featuring Atharva Gupta (@audiodevout) on (reactive) visuals and Dara McHugh on guitar, they experiment with the boundaries of an immersive spoken word performance!

Dinsdag 21 oktober | 20u | Grand Theatre | Romano Liu & Dara McHugh Murphy!

EN: (Don’t) forget it. Between wanting to forget and wanting to remember, the paradox tries to find a balance. How does it feel to be stuck in your head and at the same time want to run away from it as fast as you can? How delicate is the line between uncertainty and greatness?
Romano Liu is a 24-year-old poet and co-founder of Spaces. He has extensive experience as a performer, host, and organizer and has performed at well-known venues such as Dichters in de Prinstentuin, Noorderzon, and OOST. Together with guitarist Dara McHugh Murphy, he presents an introspective, audiovisual spoken word experience
