What a YEAR. So grateful for all of the exciting things that happened and the people I got to share them with. 2024 definitely had its tough moments, but it also had some super cool highlights:

Music:
• My first international tour & big festival in Japan with Hot Machine 🇯🇵
• My first interstate tours in NSW supporting Psychedelic Porn Crumpets & in QLD supporting Southern River Band with Hot Machine 🥁
• Hot Machine featured on the front cover of Herald Sun’s Weekend magazine with a feature interview 📰
• Hot Machine released our debut EP ‘Leather and Steel’ and 2 singles, received our first airplay on Triple J 💿
• Steel Panther shouted out Hot Machine in an instagram reel 🐆
• Ramona Sky released 2 singles and also supported Tim Rogers, PPC, The Terrys, Beddy Rays & more 🎶
• Played drums in 2 music videos, for Willowbank Grove & Abbie Ferris 🎥
• Played a total of 53 gigs across my 3 bands 🎤

Life:
• Started as the Booker for Sofar Sounds Melbourne. As well as local talent I booked headline shows for Ben Lee, Boo Seeka, Didirri, Fink, Egoism, Hein Cooper, & Simon Mavin. Also MC’d quite a few of the shows and met some incredible humans! 🎧
• Lectured at an institute about music industry things 👩‍🏫
• Had another great year working with Australian Style Institute 🤳🏼
• Travelled to Japan, Tasmania, NSW & QLD ✈️
• Went to Disneyland (Tokyo) for the first time! 🏰
• Volunteered at the RSPCA Million Paws Walk 🐾
• Came first in pub trivia (a true achievement) 🍻
• Saw a ridiculous amount of great live music because of the gigs/tours I played, and working with Sofar Sounds, but also saw some big shows including Queens of the Stone Age, Nothing But Thieves, Snarky Puppy & Donny Benet 🎸

Thanks to everyone in my life who made this year special, gave me great opportunities, and supported me during the hard times. Wishing everyone an incredible 2025!

We are so grateful to have worked with the @sofarmelbourne community for one of their last Melbourne shows before they go on intermission. It was magical to see our beautiful breathwork studio be filled with the talented sounds of local musicians. Our audience even got to experience an intro to the magic of breathwork lead by our very own @_liz_ho.
