I’ve been dreading making this post because as soon as I do it becomes official, I am no longer an all star cheerleader. Express cheer, I can’t even put into words how grateful I am to have been a part of such an amazing program. For 10 years, I was surrounded by people who cared and loved me and believed in me even when I couldn’t. This gym is truly the definition of a home away from home, where each athlete loved one another, each coach loved every athlete, and each athlete loved every coach. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t gonna miss the back 2 back full outs or even just joking around with my teammates. If I could go back and relive these 10 years I would do it in a heartbeat. The countless laughs, tears, and memories I have made, I will cherish forever. I’m so grateful that I was able to be apart of a place where I felt lifted up by every single person around me. To the coaches that have taught me, I’m so thankful for all that you all have taught me whether it was a tumbling skill or a life skill, I would not be the person I am today without yall. And to the coach that made it all happen, Jay, I truly can’t thank you enough, ( not only for putting up with me for so long) but for everything you have taught me. You taught me how to be a positive leader, to not give up when times get hard, and how to set a good example for those who look up to me. To my teammates, gosh I couldn’t ask for a better group of people. I could always count on yall to make me laugh. All the inside jokes, hard and good practices, and trials I will never forget how much I love each and everyone of you. And finally to my athletes, coaching my own team for 2 years was such an honor. Yall taught me how to be patient, be a stronger coach, to be understanding, and to have fun even when things don’t work out the way you want them to. Running around with formation sheets in my hands, yall stayed patient with me while I was learning how to be an independent and productive coach. With all that being said, if u are still age eligible and have the opportunity to, choose express cheer Dallas, because you will not have the second home experience elsewhere. Signing off- Beezie Crosland 💜 E4L!
