Camino de Santiago 💛

many milestones were celebrated along the way, the most important being mama turning 50!! I am so proud of her for challenging herself in every way. Last year I introduced her to CrossFit and back to long distance running. She has a perfect attendance streak of 5 months at her CrossFit gym, completed a 1/2 marathon, the camino, and much more. She has crafted her perfect lifestyle & fitness routine including incline workouts and sauna recovery. I could not be more proud and grateful to be her daughter.

On day 2 she pulled out her phone at breakfast with a list of everything she has reflected on in life while hiking (and from a German friend me met) 🥹😭
~ surround yourself with people who will help carry some weight when life gets heavy (on this trail literally 😹)
~ we think we need more than we do
~ learn to not “carry so many things”

The camino is challenging, but with the right people the journey is worth so much more than the destination <3

buen Camino 💛
