Wow! The YYC Care Package team is beyond grateful for our friends, family, and community. We did it again! 🎄❤️

This year, we raised $619 more than last year, which allowed us to add even more thoughtful items to our care packages. Every pack now includes baby wipes, helping individuals receiving these packs feel fresh and comfortable even when access to a shower isn’t available.

We also increased the Tim Hortons gift cards from $5.25 to $6.68, so recipients can enjoy a full meal and drink combo at Tims ☕🥪. And our women’s packs got a cozy upgrade too — with toques added to help keep warm during the cold months ❄️🧣.

Thank you to everyone who supported, shared, and donated. Your kindness and generosity made this incredible campaign possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for helping us spread warmth and care this holiday season. ✨💝

A huge thank you to Bubblemania for hosting us and keeping our volunteers well-fed this year! If you’re planning a night out, don’t sleep on Bubblemania — perfect for dining solo, with a friend, or with a group. Looking for something more intimate? Their new space is also available for private events. We’d normally have photos of the food… but our volunteers wasted no time and rushed the buffet line! 😅

🎪✨ Meet Our Board: Audrey Wensley — President! ✨🎪

What excites Audrey about being on our board? Creativity, message, and FUN.
She's currently binging This Is Us (again 👀), loves Office Space and Anchorman, and if she could try any circus skill for a day, she'd hop straight onto the trapeze!

Her secret talent? 🤫
Deep connection… and knowing the end of a movie within the first 10 minutes.

Audrey’s board vibe: Excitement. Energy. Growth.
We’re so lucky to have her in the ring with us. ❤️🎪

It’s that time of year again — YYC Care Packages is fundraising, and our goal is to raise $7,750 so we can create 373 care packages this year. We would be so grateful for your support, and there are two ways you can help:

1) Donate
You can send a e-transfer to judybtrann@gmail.com (preferred, as it avoids fees), or donate through GoFundMe here: https://gofund.me/db5ec4386

Donations qualify for a charitable tax receipt from the Drop-In Centre.
Please note: Donations under $20 will not receive a tax receipt.
To receive your tax receipt, please submit your information here: https://forms.gle/7tFdjdwxZhegP5j46

2) Support the initiative
Follow and share our content on Instagram!

Thank you so much for helping us make a difference again this year.
