A chapter I’ll never be able to put into words, but one I’ll carry with me forever. 🤍 My first year as Head Coach of the PelSquad was more than I ever could have imagined.

The @pelicansnba gave me something to hold onto during one of the lowest points of my life after losing my brother. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully explain what it means that, years later, I get to pour so much of myself back into this organization with life lessons learned from heartbreak to share.

This year was about leading young adults, setting a standard and loving them enough to hold them to it. It was about doing the hard work. Undoing things so we could rebuild them better, having difficult conversations, celebrating big wins, lots of long nights, a lot of lessons learned, and definitely a lot of tears shed. (Mostly mine because I’m a baby)

Somewhere along the way, they stopped just being my team and became my family. Their wins became my wins. Their heartbreak broke my heart probably 10x harder. I’m not sure where being their coach ended and simply loving them began. And maybe that has been the greatest part of all of it. 🥺🥹😭

Watching them step onto big stages and live out dreams they worked so hard for. Watching confidence grow. Watching friendships form that I know will exist long after the uniforms are turned in. Watching them learn that being part of a team is about so much more than themselves.

To my 2025–2026 PelSquad: thank you for trusting me with our first chapter. Thank you for growing with me, challenging me, believing in what we were building and giving me a year I will never forget. You will forever be the team that made me a Head Coach. ❤️🏀💙

Tomorrow, we officially begin the 2026–2027 season but I’ll always carry a piece of this one with me.

Year one, you were everything. 🥹

A love letter to a dream come true💌
A year FULL of memories, unforgettable experiences, growth, and realizing that dreams do come true. Words will never be able to express how grateful and blessed I am for this past year and how much it stings knowing that this chapter has closed.

I’m so thankful for my coaches and teammates for making this journey so special. This last year has been unforgettable. Just a girl who started dancing in her 20’s, looking to take fun studio classes, not knowing where it would lead. This journey has been bigger than I ever imagined

Thanks to all the people that supported & loved me endlessly through this new chapter of my life! Y’all mean the absolute world to me!

& forever grateful for every opportunity and connection that was made along the way! Being part of the 25’ to 26’ Pelicans season was truly one for the books, and I’m excited to see where this journey continues to take me!
