Today, GSIC FFA delivered nearly 1,500 food donations to the Augusta Dream Center! President Brett Williams and Vice President Grace Owens were proud to represent our chapter and deliver the donations collected by our school community.

Congratulations to Mrs. Hendricks’ 6th grade class for bringing in 283 donations and taking 1st place! In 2nd place was Dr. Manning’s A-Day 1st Period Seniors with 258 donations!

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this food drive such a success. It’s easy to overlook how much a simple donation can mean to a family in need, but today was a reminder that what we collected can make a real difference right here in our community. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.

The need is growing in our community. So far, the Dream Center has provided groceries to over 21,000 individuals, and 7500 are children” “With the holidays quickly approaching, these numbers will increase greatly.” Through the Food Pantry, families can take home groceries at no cost! But we can’t do this alone. This fall, will you consider making a lasting difference? Your support ensures no child or family goes without a meal this holiday season. To give directly, you can click the link in our bio.

Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Patterson I am nursing student at Augusta University. I am so excited to partner with the Augusta University Police Department and the Augusta Dream Center for a special community project! As I am a fellow student at our university I can’t wait to give back to the community I call home! 🧸💙

This project is very near and dear to my heart, and I cannot wait to work alongside our community to make a difference in the lives of local children.

I’m so honored to be working with Lt. Laird on this amazing project! Every donated bear will help comfort a child in our community. Some bears will be given to local Augusta University police officers to carry in their vehicles and hand out to children during calls. Others will go to the Augusta Dream Center a faith-based nonprofit organization, & CSRA-focused since 2016! Giving hope, and changing lives! Each bear will be distributed to children during the holiday season.

If you would like to help us purchase a bear, donations can be sent through this gofundme! https://gofund.me/440e0a045

Every donation—big or small—will help bring comfort, joy, and a smile to a child who needs it. Thank you so much for supporting this project and our community! 🧸❤️

Today, the GSIC FFA Officer Team had the privilege of serving at the Augusta Dream Center’s 11th Annual Back to School Bookbag Giveaway – Serve Day!

More than 600 bookbags filled with school supplies were prepared for local students, but the impact went far beyond backpacks. Families also received free groceries for the week, hot meals, clothing, shoes, haircuts, and access to medical and dental care.

We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community and be part of an event that helps set students and families up for a successful school year. Thank you to the Augusta Dream Center and everyone who made this incredible day possible!
