From a Southern hunting lodge on Friday night to an immersive garden on Saturday… the transformation was complete!

For Henry + Shana’s wedding reception, we wanted the design to feel like a natural extension of the land that means so much to them. Layers of green, natural wood chairs, trellis patterns and climbing greenery brought the outdoors in, while rich cream velvets, crystal chandeliers and abundant florals added softness and elegance throughout the tent.

The experience was every bit as special as the setting. Guests enjoyed incredible synchronized dinner service while a fabulous orchestra played throughout the evening, followed by interactive dessert stations that turned the final course into a celebration of its own.

And when it was time for Henry + Shana’s exit, a second line of horns led the way for one final celebration!

Elegant, immersive, and rooted in the beauty of the place they call home… the sweetest culmination of an unforgettable weekend in Albany.

And then… we did it all over again!

The moment Friday night’s rehearsal dinner ended, our vendor teams began the overnight transformation. Lodge-inspired lighting came down and crystal chandeliers went up. Furniture moved, tables were respaced, linens changed, florals were built out, and pinspots were set, transforming Friday’s rich, collected lodge into Saturday’s immersive garden.

And then came the rain.

With steady, sustained rainfall throughout Saturday, the call was made to bring our outdoor elements inside. Our rain plan had been thoughtfully designed to accommodate both mocktail hour and a seated dinner within the same tent footprint, without sacrificing natural flow, intentional spacing, or the guest experience.

As the rainfall intensified, a few additional adjustments kept everything protected and moving forward, while our teams continued perfecting every detail and the catering team rehearsed the synchronized service guests would experience that evening.

An overnight flip, a rain plan in action, and SO many talented hands working together behind the scenes.
Right on time, the tent was show ready and every detail was in place!

There’s something extra special about celebrating at home.

Henry + Shana began their wedding weekend in Albany, Georgia, with a rehearsal dinner on Henry’s family’s hunting preserve. With the setting as our inspiration, we transformed the tent into a warm Southern hunting lodge layered with rich leathers, plaids, and velvets.

Guests found their table numbers on custom calligraphed ducks tucked among the reeds before sitting down to tables glowing in candlelight, with florals featuring pheasant feathers and cattails. Bookshelves were styled with the family’s own keepsakes and collected pieces, while a menu featuring wild game carried the inspiration through dinner.

Warm, collected, and filled with personal touches, every detail felt connected to the place and the family behind it. The perfect beginning to Henry + Shana’s wedding weekend at home.

One tent. Two celebrations. Two completely different designs.

For Henry & Shana’s wedding weekend, a single black-frame Arcum tent would become the setting for both Friday night’s rehearsal dinner and Saturday’s wedding reception.

For Friday evening, a large wall of blue fabric drape was constructed to divide the tent, creating an intimate setting for the rehearsal dinner while concealing what would eventually become an entirely different world on the other side.

From there, our teams began bringing the Southern hunting lodge to life. Rich layers of leather, plaid, and velvet were brought in, florals were built, tables were set, and bookshelves were styled with the family’s own taxidermy, hunting pieces, keepsakes, and collected décor.

Then came all those finishing touches… polishing, styling, adjusting, and perfecting every last detail before the doors opened.

So much happens before a space ever feels finished, and this was only the beginning!
