It always takes me a few days after SANCTA to process everything these incredible weeks hold.

SANCTA 2026 marks the fifth year of this project, and looking back at where we started to where we are now fills me with so much gratitude. I’m incredibly thankful for this team, the artists who continue to show up with openness, vulnerability, and generosity, and everyone who has been part of this journey from the very beginning.

To me, SANCTA is a space for exploration, curiosity, and collaboration. Every year, I’m reminded of the power of bringing artists together to create, take risks, and learn from one another.

Thank you to every choreographer, dancer, teacher, volunteer, and audience member who has helped make SANCTA what it is. I can’t wait to see what the future holds and to welcome all the new artists we’ll meet and collaborate with in the years ahead.

Here’s to the next chapter! Photo @chippercentral
