10 Years of Mexi Log Fest.
From 2017 to 2019 we run our event in the beautiful village of La Saladita, Guerrero.
Forever grateful with the local families to allowed us to enjoy their home.
Muchas gracias @lourdesbarandgrill @jesus_valencia_saladita @pacossaladita @jovitaypancho_saladita and many more awesome people from La Saladita.
Around 2016 I was introduced to @tara_medina @andressaavedramx via @elratamayo or @jshlphoto (No me acuerdo bien 😅 pero gracias a los dos)
Tara, Andres & @aychirara run @lootmx and to say the least, those 3 years in La Saladita were magical, full of good vibes, awesome music and of course lots of fiesta, all of these great moments wouldn’t have happened without the enormous support such as logistics, production, sponsorship and so on and on from the @lootmx family.
2017, we run @joeljitsu Duct Tape in conjunction with The MXLF, we had a blast!

Along the same line of spontaneity as @tedi_hardware you’ll find @augustoolinto , one of the most creative and innovative longboarders in the game right now.

I first met Augusto at Noosa fest in 2019. Everyone was talking about his insane surfing from the first day and how they hoped he wouldn’t be in their next heat. The next day I went down there to look for him and right away I saw a pack of 15-20 people hanging by a Brazilian flag and one of them had “Olinto” tatted across his chest. Found him! I was definitely intimidated to approach the group but I had to meet this guy. When I approached, I was greeted with a huge hello from the man himself, he gave me a beer and told me to hang. He didn’t speak much English and I didn’t know any Portuguese but we hung out for like an hour listening to music and drinking beer. It was awesome. Long story short, he’s a great surfer and a fun hang 🕺
