“L’arte mi ha ridato la voce”. So says Marcello Maloberti in the new episode of “The Square – All You Can Art”, the Sky Arte program that takes viewers on a journey through the best of the national art scene.

The first guest is Maloberti himself, interviewed by host Nicolas Ballario at his home in Casalpusterlengo, in the province of Lodi.

“The Square” is airing on Sky Arte for two weeks and will then be available on NOW.

CIELO, 2025

From November 24, 2025 to January 24, 2026
Visible every day from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Torre Piacentini, Genoa

First exhibited at the Bangkok Art Biennale (2022) and later outside the Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea in Milan (2024), the neon sign “CIELO” echoes the artist’s MARTELLATE – thoughts and slogans drawn in black marker that burst onto the white page with the urgency of a headline. Visible for half an hour each day on the giant screen of the Torre Piacentini – Terrazza Colombo, the work acts as a hinge between the city of Genoa and the sky. In Liguria – what Camillo Sbarbaro called “a thin strip of land edging the sea” –the “CIELO” installation appears like a polar star, a poetic and sensitive point of orientation that opens a reflective space between the city’s rhythm and the depth of the blue above.
