Popped my retreat cherry with the @breathoflife808 ohana @haleakua last month here on the island of Maui 💚🌱 absolutely in love with everything that was curated by this incredible and intuitive group of facilitators @breathoflife808 @paulina.tnt @aundriacase @amanda.yogi 🤍 also fell in love with the connection and community created by all the participants. My breath of life family, thank you for such a transformative experience 🫂🙏🏻🩵 I think what sticks out most about this retreat is the profound healing that occurs through the breathwork and IFS therapy. It’s not just a retreat, it’s like years of therapy combined with everything else a retreat has to offer, and then some. Waterfall hikes, high vibrational house parties, PAUNDI, homemade meals made with love by @spencer__sherman & late night giggle fests with the girls 💛

Take a glimpse into the Breath of Life retreat on Maui at the beautiful @haleakua where 20 souls came together from near and far to create an experience that won’t ever be forgotten. We’re getting ready to set our retreat schedule for 2027 and we will definitely be back at HaleAkua again, who’s coming next year? Dates will be announced soon. True story. I joined CrossFit because I wanted to get stronger. I never expected one of the greatest things I’d gain would be a friendship that lasted long after the workouts. Funny how life gives you exactly what you needed, even when you weren’t looking for it. 🤍

Two bestie therapists start a business together… what could possibly go wrong?!

Not everyone gets to keep the friends they grew up with. But sometimes life gives you something just as beautiful.

The people who meet you in the middle of becoming who you really are. Who celebrate your wins, sit with you through your losses, and make space for every part of you.

If you’ve found friendships like that, don’t take them for granted. They’re one of life’s greatest gifts. 🤍

Some stories remind us just how powerful this work can be. 🌬️🫁🫶🏽🪷

Lindsey first found Breath of Life after a friend encouraged her to come to a journey the night before she flew to be with her father, who was nearing the end of his life after a long battle with lung cancer.

During that very first breathwork session, she shared that it felt as though she was breathing for both herself and her dad. She also connected with a part of herself that had carried years of hurt and unforgiveness in their relationship, and for the first time, she was able to let some of that burden go.

That night she read Breath of Life, and in the days that followed, she was at her father’s bedside for his final breaths. In one of the most meaningful moments of her life, she shared the same breathwork rhythm with him as he peacefully transitioned.

Shortly afterward, Lindsey signed up for our five-night Maui retreat. Looking back, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Surrounded by nature, breathwork, IFS-informed experiential groups, and an incredible community, she found a space to continue grieving, healing, and remembering that she didn’t have to walk the journey alone.

Today, she’s part of a community that feels like family, and we’re endlessly grateful she answered the call when she did.
