With that, the YE#31 season comes to an end. When I said yes to being a Head Facilitator back in April, I had so many doubts, but I chose to trust in the Lord and let Him lead me in service to this community. The journey was not an easy one, but through God's grace, this weekend was made a success!
🩵 To the candidates - thank you for accepting the call to deepen your devotion to God at this retreat. It was incredible to witness your growth throughout the entire weekend. The openness, vulnerability, comradery, and willingness to engage yourselves in this community was something truly inspiring. I know God has great plans for you, and I hope to continue seeing you all at future BLD events!
🧡 To the Auxies - this weekend couldn't have been possible without everyone fulfilling their roles. I thank you all for your willingness to serve.
🩷 To my Understudies - Angela, Angel, Mathieu, and Darius - I couldn't be more proud of you guys! You've all come so far since Facilitator's Training back in May. I was amazed watching you develop the talks into your own and using them to connect with the candidates on a more personal level.
💜 To my Facilitators - Anne, Arnold, and Andres - thank you for always being there to support Mico and I. Thank you Arnold for the former head fed insight. Thank you Andres and Anne for sharing your stories, allowing the candidates to open their hearts to each other and to God. I know I can always count on you guys to not only get the job done, but to do it well.
💙 To my fellow Head Facilitator - Mico - I couldn't have asked for a better partner to share this experience with. For each of my flaws, you were always there to fill the gaps. You've seen me in the ups and downs during the weekend and the months leading up to it, and you’ve supported me through every step of the way. I don't know what I would've done without you!
🤍 Lastly, thank you Lord for allowing me this opportunity to serve you. Thank you for this BLD community, which is one I can call home.

I'm beyond grateful for everyone and everything... the harvest from YE #31 truly was plenty. From the laughs, to the cries, to the high praise and moments of silence, we all became one family in the span of just three days. To all who helped out, thank you for making this retreat possible. SPECIAL shoutout to the sponsoring class YE #30 for being the best class I could've ever shepherded and for contributing all that you can towards the success of the retreat, whether physically or through your prayers. Seeing you guys grow in this BLD community has truly been such a blessing for me and I hope we can all reunite soon.

Congrats to the graduated YE #31 class, you all are amazing! Never forget how important it is to stay deeply devoted in your faith :D

Still can't believe YE #31 is done just like that. This weekend felt so long in a way that we did ALL of that in the span of Friday night to Sunday afternoon, but it felt so short too. I absolutely loved being on Study Team this year, and while I had my doubts at times with everything going on, it ended up being such an amazing experience for me. Thank you for making me feel affirmed 🫶

Thank you to all of my Study Team members for making this new journey an unforgettable one. Thank you to all of the auxies for the help all around from the sleepless nights, to the random conversations we'd have that'd make my day and make me smile (and last minute rehearsals/meetings/poster-making HAHA). And thank you to the candidates, for being so inspiring and for putting yourselves out there the way you did. I loved meeting you all and getting to know you. I can't wait to see everyone again (as we must not become strangers!!). I hope you all were able to find yourselves closer to God and are able to call this community a home, just as I have. From being a DYC (shoutout to DYC '26 🔥), to being in Praise (🥁) and Study Team, this was a LOT but absolutely worth it and I'm just so grateful for it all. These moments won't last forever, but the memories certainly will. Experiences like these are ones I always hold close to my heart, and I thank you all for that, and above all, I thank God for these wonderful gifts and continuous blessings.

And this is not the end!! Can't wait to see how we all continue to grow 🩷🙏

And with that, YE#31 is now complete. 💙

When serving for this retreat, I remember last year from when I took it. This new coming class made the experience all the better. I'm thankful to each and every one of the candidates who took part. Another thank you to all of the auxies for making this weekend possible. It has been such a roller coaster of emotions: laughing around, the skits and harana (shoutout sponsoring class and class sheps of YE#30), staying up for who knows how long, crying together, and uplifting our bond with our Father as a whole. Everyone has been amazing and despite me not being a candidate, I fell inlove with my faith all over again. ✝️

I hope to see you all in the future from side quests, Friday worships, upcoming reunions, to our next retreat YLSS#30. I look forward to being a class shepherd for such a lively and loving class. Enjoy the rest of your summer diving deep, making waves. 🌊

the past weekend was such a surreal experience. looking back at all these pictures with my fellow candidates, we all started out as strangers who were scared to be vulnerable with each other and with God but as we ended the weekend, we grew our faith together and become a family. thank you to every single person who made this encounter possible and i'm so glad i was convinced (special shoutout to aiden for introducing me thank you baby🤍) to take it and i had the best 3 days ever getting closer to the Lord. i have never felt so blessed, devoted, and loved so i truly thank this weekend for that. thank you to the BLD community for welcoming me with open arms and i can't wait to see what's in store for the upcoming events🕊️❤️‍🩹

Now up next on our #PeopleOfYE is Anne Argonza!! Anne is one of the smartest, funniest, and kindest people around! She has a big heart and won’t hesitate to always lend a helping hand. One of the most admirable things about Anne is her caring personality for everyone. She’s additionally a great singer, actress, and pianist! Wonder how she does it all? Ask her at YE and find out! 👀

Here's what she has to say: "Hi everyone! I'm Anne, and I first joined BLD when I was little, but I wasn't really that active in the community until I took YE #28. To be honest, at the time I was terrified at the thought of taking a retreat and being surrounded by a whole group of people I didn't know. Looking back though, it was such a blessing that I took it anyway. Everyone is so welcoming, and the songs really touched me. The retreat opened my eyes to the many ways in which God works in our lives, and helped me grow into the person I am today. Even though I grew up in a religious household, being in this community really united me with my faith, and I'm so grateful for that.

So excited to see you all at YE #31! <3"

WEEE got through one the biggest (literally) and busiest month!!! thank you to everyone involved and together pushed through all of the trouble to make march a remarkable and cherishing memory :) from the musical, ylss 29, school, and all of the other side quests, i couldn't have done it without you all ♡

It has been such a pleasure to play as Karen in the Spongebob Musical! From *beep *boop *bop, to yodeling, to having the hardest "try not to laugh" challenge on stage, to big guy... my experience as Karen has been filled with so much fun memories! I'm gonna miss moving the Karen robot prop wherever I go... 🙂‍↕️

To everyone who supported me, including my family, friends, and BLD🕊❤️, thank you so much! I couldn't have been here without you guys' love and encouragement. You all showing up really means the world to me! I love you guys 🥹

To the cast and crew, thank you for making my first ever theatre production unforgettable. Each and every one of you brought so much life and energy to this musical, and I couldn't have asked for better people to work with.
