A massive thank you to my crew and performers last night 💐🌙🔥 your emotional courage blew me away @arianghc @gutten.boy @fogg_the_police @limbless_oslo @sune_hvettv_ @dumkonto @lgf6zs @jonasmeurerlunde A huge thank you to the amazing crowd and audience🥹 The performance drew its inspiration from the Persian «Zurkaneh/ House of Strength» , an ancient form of workout, where strength is combined with mystical recitals. True strength for me is emotional insight and depth- thank you my dear crew for helping me express strength in sorrow❤️

‘Brytningen’ 2026 Støpt aluminium, koboltblomst lånt fra Blaafarveverket Museum og Falbånd fra gravrøys Henriette Wegner Paviljong Sekvenser August 2026 For this piece I travelled to Blaafarveværket og koboltgruvene in Åmot, the place where Norwegian Cobolt was mined. The money behind the wealth of the mining magnate Benjamin Wegner. In 1830, Henriette received the pavillion as a wedding present. In this little closed pavilion I wanted to bring the chemical element that occurs naturally in minerals and ores, that turned Norway into supplying approximately 80% of the world’s cobalt colour pigment market in the 1830s. A time where the pigment extracted from the mineral was highly valuable. The pigment was sold to porcelain, glass, paper and other industries. Norwegian products even reached China and Japan. There is something particularly striking about this history from a material perspective. It was made through transformation — rock, heat, chemical processing, glass, grinding, and finally colour. The wealth acquired from this, later turned Henriette into Norways richest woman. She founded Norway’s first women’s organization, the Association for the Support of Poor Mothers. Henriette Wegner’s story is significant because it brings together women’s social influence, philanthropy, industrial wealth and the contradictions of 19th-century Norwegian society. Sekvenser is an exhibition series that took place in Frognerparken, initiated by Madelen Isa Lindgren. Thank you to Madelen and all the artists participating in the group show, and sequences. Showing their wonderful work. Sekvenser is kindly supported by Arts Council Norway @kulturdir and @frognerparkensvenner and venue provided by Kulturetaten @kulturetaten

Video: @skogsrud Musikk: «wildflower» @nothingpersonaluniverse
