Dance Aunt Life >>>
Best week with my best girls at NRG Nationals⚡️

I know these days won’t last forever and I won’t ever take them for granted 🖤 There is nothing better than seeing my girl chase her dreams. No one works harder than she does. She has the passion and the drive, the talent and more importantly, the most beautiful heart. There is no limit for where you can go, and I’ll cheer you on the whole way! 🫶🏼 Forever proud of you!

What a beautiful recital day! Great ending to our (not so) tiny dancer's season! So much growth this year. Thank you to all her teachers @vpaadance for pouring into her!

Every time the kids step onto the stage my heart drops to my stomach. I always pray Lord give me all their fears & anxiety so they can shine. When they come off the stage behind the curtain RELIEF! Everyone is smiles & laughter because we just did the dang thing!
Then we walk out & negative thoughts come into play…the crowd with not so happy smiles…the awards that most the time are not ours. All the hype of seeing the kids conquer the stage gone too quickly. This is the part I hate…the fear that I let them down & that they are walking away feeling defeated….
This weekend I was getting tunnel vision of feeling all the negativity when I heard a little voice say “did you see them? They did so good mom. “ I had let Aurora choreograph a mini number and she had just watched it on stage. I said “yes they did so good I’m very proud” Aurora looked at me with the biggest smile “so you will let me choreograph again because I have the best idea about a jungle & a lion…” as we walked through the crowd I zoned in on all her thoughts about the next time. So very thankful for a small light reminding me to stay the course..be proud…keep dreaming…Competition is a hard life but I know the things we’re all learning through it will help build up the ideas for tomorrow. No matter what they score or how we are received after I will always cherish them running to me from the stage into my arms 💛 I’m PROUD
