POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Taking the time this 27th birthday to reflect all the cherished memories from 2026🖤🎂 The inspirations, the achievements, core memories, the hurt, the lessons, the growing pains, new soul connections, and more. From my first real heartbreak to graduating and getting my second degree, this year was truly wild and there’s more to come! No regrets baby, just growth✨

Shout out and big love to my family, my friends, my community, peers, and supporters. You helped make my 26th year special, on to 27!

The @blacknanimated and @titmouseinc summit was one of the best highlights in my journey into learning about the world of animation. Being around soo many artist who look like me, and speak my creative language was the coolest thing to experience. There isn’t a lot of black animators in the industry, so the fact that this was even a thing warms my heart to no end.

I’m tagging people that have made this experience the best it could be with their kindness! If I didn’t tag you, let me know! (If you don’t to be tagged, dm me)

Massive shout out to @thestudiomoyo @nikflo_ and @shugh.art for letting me know about the existence of something soo cool!

Thank you to everyone in the tags for being the coolest people in the world! I even feel a bit bummed heading back out here because this experience is something you don’t see everyday! I love you all, and I’ll keep practicing my fundamentals ❤️

P.s.
Next post after this will be about the album.

Spending the weekend at the Black-n-Animated 2026 Career Summit at Titmouse Animation Studios!!! (in Burbank, not downtown LA lol) So far, this has been one of the biggest and the best animation events I’ve ever been to, as not only did I meet, connect and establish new friendships with other fun, amazing and like-minded creatives of all levels, but I learned so much from those currently working in the industry about animation, networking, and a whole lot more on a rawer and deeper level!!! I feel that I have finished this event with a much stronger and more clearer understanding of the animation industry, and I can’t wait to apply my new-found knowledge as I get closer and closer to realizing my dreams!!! Thank you, Black-N-Animated and all who were at this amazing event! I’m so happy to have met you and it would not have been such an awesome and fruitful experience without you guys!!! 🎉🎉🎉✨✨✨🎥🎥✍️✍️🎨🎨😁😁😁✨✨

Yesterday at the @afroanimationsummit I had real conversations with artists and animators about one of the biggest questions right now—AI.

A lot of fear.
A lot of uncertainty.
But also a lot of opportunity… if you know how to move.

I shared my perspective on building with both traditional and hybrid workflows—and what that actually means for creators today.

Headed back for Day 3.
I’ll be posting the full panel on YouTube.

Now that I’m finally back home and settled from an eventful trip, I can share with you some shots from attending @afroanimationsummit storyboard competition! Got a lot to say abt the experience but wanted to make a quick recap post before life goes on. Glad to meet so many passionate creatives it felt like going to art class again. Special thanks to those that put this event together and the wonderful souls I’ve met here 💜
