Pray for our Camp Week!

Please use this prayer guide to pray for a different area of Camp Discovery 2025!

Monday -
Pray for our participants families. This is for our campers, mentors, and staff. Many of our campers have never been away from home. Our mentors and staff leave their families for the week. We ask that you pray for the families that have participants at camp.

Tuesday -
Pray for Mount Shepherd Retreat Center. They host as all week and help make camp special. They go above and beyond to give us a great week. We are thankful for all that they do for us!

Wednesday - Pray for our volunteers! These are the folks that come up at different times of the week to help us with camp activities. They help with crafts, teach our campers to fish, lead rotations, serve snacks, and help wherever they are needed. They help make sure our week runs smoothly.

Thursday - Pray for our campers! They are the reason we do camp. Pray for them as they have a week of firsts. Sometimes it's the first time being away from home or even first time swimming. We pray that they have a great week and keep the "Can Do" spirit.

Friday - Pray for our mentors! Our mentors are the backbone of camp. They aren't there to babysit, but to experience camp with our campers. They are there to encourage them and to be a friend. Pray that they keep their energy and their patience up all week.

Saturday - Pray for our camp staff! They work behind the scenes before, during, and after camp on different elements. During the week, they will be prepping activities, rotations, vespers, and keeping us all on schedule.

Sunday - Pray for our camp week! Each hour and to some extent, minute, has been planned out for our week. First rule of any plan is to be flexible and prepare for plan b & sometimes c. Pray that we have great weather for our outdoor activities.
Pray for a great week at Camp Discovery!

Salisbury High School presents a drum major training camp.

July 15–19, 2024
9am-4pm

Designed specifically for anybody interested in being a drum major at Salisbury High School,

Who is it for?
Our camps are open to rising 9th graders through 12th graders attending Salisbury High School.

What will you learn?
The Drum Major Leadership Camp focuses on the various aspects of leadership in a competitive and non-competitive environment. We will work with each student attending to build a solid foundation of conduct, leadership, and teaching methods. This camp experience will help develop the skills required to conduct and lead with confidence.
