Journey to Center🌀

Sometimes I stumble upon a place that takes me back in time. Here you see a large village under an alcove, roughly 30 rooms. Not sure which Puebloan tribe and specific clan lived here however their black on white pottery and corn cover the ground. Chard wood and inside some of the Pueblos give an indication that this place once took up in flame. So many questions and yet probably will never have the answers.

For the past two years I’ve been wandering the deserts of the Four Corners and finding Pyramid like structures all over. The Ancestral Puebloan lived in these areas for tens of thousands of years and have left behind their villages which remain in rubble. From around 900-1200 AD large scale Puebloan structures were being built. All whilst Chaco, Mesa Verde and many other places were thriving.

The Puebloan built their large villages upon small mesas. Terracing and reshaping the mesas to give off the appearance of a Pyramid. Perhaps imitating those built by the Mayan or Olmec whom they traded with. They aren’t full blown pyramids but rather reshaped mesas with large scale Puebloan architecture. Boggles the mind every time walking amongst these sacred sites. Can’t imagine seeing this place fully standing🌀

Have to post about my cute Jaxson! Photographing this superior athlete was super fun! Cheering and getting to know and hanging out with him and having him be such a big part of my family is awesome! I guess on top of being Jaxson’s fan no matter where he’s played. I am now truly a Giants fan! Continue to go on and do great things and know you always have so many people cheering you on! Time to celebrate your next big endeavor! Let’s go!
