I was listening to Søren Kierkegaard, recommended by a podcast to gain a deeper insight into philosophical inquiry of existentialism. Two minutes into the book I was feeling the extent of Søren’s gargantuan suffering as he said, “Knowing all, I am known by nobody.” He was so brilliant, so educated, financially stable yet so lonely. This made me think of an 80 year long longitudinal study by Harvard which have concluded that not our genes, not our level of IQ, not the amount of money we have, not neighborhood we live in nor our popularity determines the level of happiness we are experiencing during our life and at the end of it. The study demonstrated that our intimate relationships, the type of relationships in which we can be ourselves, in which we can be vulnerable without a fear of being judged or punished, these are the type of relationships that will protect us from feeling discontent in life, will delay our cognitive and physical decline and will facilitate our overall merry lives. Love you all, grateful to have you in my life and wish for us to live long and happy lives.

P.S. Thank you Kyla, Andrew and Marissa for a fun night out and a genuine conversation 💞😘
