ONE TAKE POV: Game-over ➡️ Outros🎬

Lavar brings us to the end, sealing the dub in his 2v2 with Burke!

Once the game ends, I try to sync audio…but I’m clicking buttons too quickly and can’t get the record light😭 Once it’s finally rolling, I sync us up and start getting everyone into position for the outro.

Scotty decides to bring all the remaining friends, family, and supporters onto the court, so while Debo makes the announcement, I’m coordinating everyone’s position and making sure it looks good on-camera.

Once we’re ready, I give Debo the signal, he counts us down one last time, and we begin the final outro of TNC X AUSTIN🙌

POV: Trading Equipment🎥➡️🎤

As promised, Scotty and I were ready to hop in anytime our camera operators needed a break during the final game of TNC X AUSTIN.

When Joseph calls me over, I realize I’m still holding Scotty’s mic…I shove it in my pocket, pray it stays, and take the gimbal.

I head toward the player benches to capture what’s happening during the break, letting everyone know I’m coming through and trying not to invade their space too much🤣 Luckily, both corners were super chill about it🤞

Then Scotty’s mic slips straight out of my pocket…(please don’t tell Grayson😭). With both hands occupied, I walkie for some help.

The mic survives, and Joseph even tests it for us! After I warn him about my sweaty hands, he grabs the camera, I grab the mic, and we’re back to gameplay…but not before he immediately calls me out for exactly what I warned him about🥹

POV: We ALMOST messed up the score😳

We’re into the second half of Lat vs. Iso Cal at TNC X AUSTIN, and almost immediately, I notice something’s off…

I check the scoreboard and repeat the score over the walkie: 15-7. But wait—the score should be 15-8‼️

I flag it with our scorekeeper, and he immediately jumps into action to get it corrected. It takes a few seconds to sort out, but we ultimately get the RIGHT score back on the board and continue with the game🔥

It’s a small mistake, but exactly the kind of thing we have to catch in real time to keep the game running smoothly, and the score a reality.

It was special experiencing this event in person. The production is on a whole other level.

I’ve come a long way, but still have so much to learn.
