i am so thankful for everything track has taught me. it has taught me to know my worth, to never stop fighting even when i feel like i can’t push through, and to never give up on my goals, even when they seem impossible. at the beginning of this year, i never thought i’d be back at state, let alone competing in two events. looking back, i’m so proud of myself for putting in the work every single day to become even better than i was last year. none of this would have been possible without my coaches, teammates, family, and friends. thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and being there every step of the way. i’m grateful for this journey and everything this sport has given me.

This was the hardest chapter to close.

After 15 years of dancing and countless hours spent in the studio, it’s officially over. I’m beyond grateful for everything dance has given me. It has never been just a sport for me; it has been a form of therapy, and a place where I’ve grown. Dance has taught me so much, shaped who I am, and helped me through the hardest times. I’m forever thankful for the memories, lessons, and friendships I’ve made along the way.

thank you to the sport of dance for the past 14 years, this journey has been incredible. dance has shaped a big part of who i am, making this chapter an especially hard one to close. @thestudio_byalyssa this recital was one of the best, thank you miss alyssa for a beautiful senior year. 🤍🖤

Senior year recital. The final bow. 💐✨

It’s hard to put into words what dance has meant to me over the years. Countless hours in the studio, lifelong friendships, lessons learned, challenges overcome, and memories I’ll carry forever.

This recital wasn’t just another performance—it was the closing of a chapter that has shaped so much of who I am. While it’s bittersweet knowing this was my final bow as a senior, I’m beyond grateful for every moment that led me here.

Thank you to my teachers, teammates, family, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Dance will always hold a special place in my heart.

For now, I take my final bow with a heart full of gratitude. 🤍

Recital week is finally here 🤍
After years of dance, this will be my very last recital and my final week as a dancer before graduating as a senior. It’s hard to put into words how much dance has meant to me throughout my life — the memories, friendships, lessons, and moments on stage will always hold such a special place in my heart.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this journey. One last time… let’s rock. 🎸✨

the hardest goodbye

over the past three years i’ve grown to really love this sport. after all the hours put in during the offseason, and every meet and practice, it’s hard to believe it’s over. this season was difficult and took a lot out of me, but i’m so thankful i got to finish on the blue oval one last time. i’ll forever miss this sport. thank you wapsie valley track for the lifelong memories and endless opportunities.
