How often do you get quiet, close your eyes and feel into your heart?
How often do you look in the mirror and gaze into your own eyes?
How often do you tell yourself “i love you”?
I’ll be honest, I used to rush through my days without even slowing down to take a solid deep breath. I used to hate looking in the mirror for the fact that I would always find something to judge. I rarely, if ever, showed myself any self love. In an industry that revolves solely on how humans look, I found myself consistently feeling lost, unfulfilled, or that something was missing. Don’t get me wrong, I have absolutely loved and been incredibly grateful for the experiences and opportunities that have been presented to me. But to be judged day in and day out simply on how you look can take an incredible toll on your self worth. Good enough for some, but not all. I’ve been forced to change the narrative, step inside my body, my heart and really feel how grateful I am for this life, for this body and most importantly, for this soul. At this age, I don’t have time for not loving myself whole heartedly, for not truly believing that I am pretty damn awesome, and I can do anything. I am enough. I don’t need anything or anyone to complete that. And I dare you to change the narrative. Tell yourself “I love you” every day. All day long. Look into your own eyes like you would a loved one. Feel that love and power within you because no one else can do that for you. And there is magic in that 🌟. @hive.studio @austinhuck
