The gratitude that I feel for what happened on Thursday feels immeasurable by words. And in true EMBODYED fashion, I can mainly encapsulate it in a feeling. One that my whole system will never forget. From every hug, conversation, hand held, eyes locked, collective dancing, laughs, cries, deep exhales, and essentially dancing our hearts out for two straight hours… Nothing has ever felt more RIGHT. To be surrounded by 100 women in their fullness was ELECTRIFYING. I don’t know if anyone slept that night because I’m pretty sure we all left feeling ready to change the freaking world!! With a theme as simple (and enormous) as ALIVENESS, something that meets every woman differently depending on where she is in life, we got to experience what it feels like to stop measuring, producing, assessing, and trying to make something of ourselves. And just BE. To let existing be as magical as it actually is. It is legitimately the honor of a lifetime to dance alongside so many powerful women. And I know in every fiber of my being that this is just the beginning of a movement of women returning to movement to make moves in the world. Thank you to @ckimcreatives for this EPIC video and @henryselisphoto for the beautiful photos (coming soon!). Thank you to @brodiehomestead for your one-of-a-kind space. Thank you to @austinsilentdisco for helping create such an impeccable immersive experience. Thank you to my friends + volunteers @party__danimal @portia_durant @nicolecwhite_ @caitlinmessina for showing up in every way day of and making this possible. Thank you to @mellymel007 + @michellelifavi for being my rock-solid foundation, production partners, and fellow visionaries. Thank you to every friend who supported me through the process of expanding my vision, belief, and capacity to bring this to life. Using our wireless noise-isolating headphones, guests can listen to the live speakers and important conversations happening throughout the event while still having the freedom to walk around, explore vendors, grab food, and enjoy everything the property has to offer. Headphones will be available at the Austin Silent Disco booth for a $5 rental fee per pair and can be used for the duration of the event. A simple collateral signature will be required at checkout to help ensure all headphones are returned at the end of the experience. Come visit us at the Austin Silent Disco booth, grab a pair, tune in, and experience the event in a completely different way.
