🎵”We’re super strong and we are grizzly, we are grizzly, grizzly strong!”🎵

Being the grizzly pack leader was the most fun I’ve ever had. I am so grateful to WinShape for believing and trusting in me this summer to lead 157 campers and 12 counselors as we explored what it means to find our strength in the Lord. Our theme verse this summer was Psalm 121:1–2 “I lift my eyes up to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

This truly was the summer of a lifetime!

One last post for WinShape Camps. It’s been such an honor getting to work with some of these people and capturing the memories of them and their kids who they got to show the love of Christ to every day. I’m so grateful for everyone and @workatwinshape for this amazing opportunity. This has been a summer I truly will never forget and some might say a summer of a lifetime.

What an amazing first summer on staff at @winshapecamps !! Amazing memories with campers and brotherhood with staff. I’m so thankful for the growth I was able to experience this summer. It was an amazing intro to college life; building good habits along with lasting friendships is something I am beyond grateful for.
I am so thankful to receive the honor of Outstanding Junior Counselor of the year for boys camp! And I am so proud of @shelby.glore07 for being recognized as the Outstanding Junior Camp Counselor for girls camp!
Winshape lives up to the “Summer of a lifetime” motto, truly changing lives and bringing people closer to Christ every single summer. Thank you to the people who poured into me and encouraged me enough to make my summer job feel like a vacation.

A little late on this post…. But better late than never. God taught me so much last session. Most importantly, He has taught me how to rely only upon Him for strength and the power of prayer. We worship an all-powerful God who can do all things. If we ask in accordance to His will, He will provide. I remember on middle Saturday, my patience was gone and my emotional and physical strength was as well. Out of desperation, I went to one of my friends to pray over me. And in a snap of fingers the next morning, it was like a switch flipped. There are so many of these stories this session, this is merely just the tip of the iceberg.

…. Also, we definitely got robbed at council. Everyone was painted as minions lol.

Can’t believe half the summer is already over!! Thank you @winshapecamps for allowing me to serve these past 2 summers. God has taught me many different things about myself as I have served through camp. One of the main things is how to stay obedient through the challenges we face each day.
