One of the biggest lessons I've learned this year is that writing a great screenplay is only part of the journey.

For the past few nights, I had the opportunity to learn from Austin Spicer and the American Film Association on the fundamentals of film financing, packaging, and pitching.

Every session reminds me that producing is about much more than creativity. It's about understanding how great stories become investable projects.

Thank you, Austin, and everyone at AFA for creating such a valuable learning experience. I'm looking forward to putting these lessons into practice.

Texas mini tour full of great people, food, and biz 🤠

Hit the studio from the runway for my first time in San Antonio for a podcast with @turnupthehustlepodcast successful real estate entrepreneurs @turnupthehustle and @skylarbmoon🎙️

Mini stop through Austin, then hit the road for a 4-hour drive to Dallas. Stopped by Waco to see @magnolia for the first time (and cupcakes). And what's a Texas road trip without a Buc-ee's stop? Everyone told me I had to go. A fun experience and brilliant business model that's crushing the industry bringing in billions.

Had the best time catching up with @trentshelton, former NFL turned one of the most powerful speakers, sharing stages with Tony Robbins. Always spitting fire and committed to changing people's lives 🙏

And thank you @suzybatiz for inviting me into your lovely home for a special fellowship evening where we laughed, cried, and got deep. From rising through hardships to one of Forbes' wealthiest self-made women and founder of @poopourri.

Both achieving incredible success but more importantly, amazing souls continuing to change the world with their impact and heart ✨

That’s why projects like Iron Lung, The Backrooms, and other creator-led films are starting to break through. These creators aren’t just making videos anymore… they’re building fanbases powerful enough to launch feature films.

Meanwhile, a lot of traditional filmmakers are still creating in a vacuum and hoping people show up later.
