Wake up with the sun, make our way down the stairs, and to the water. Just the two of us, the stillness of the lake, and a reminder of why we chose this life.

Sometimes, the biggest shifts come from the smallest choices. A slower morning. More time outside. More moments together. Learning to appreciate what’s right in front of us instead of always looking for what’s next.

And maybe that’s what you need, too. A little distance from your everyday routine to find your way back to yourself.

October on Lake Travis has a way of making you slow down. The air is perfect, the water is still warm, and the mornings feel like something you wish you could bottle up and take home.

If you’ve been craving a change of pace, we’d love to share this little corner of the world with you. Just 3.5 hours from Houston and Dallas. 🤎 Under an hour from Austin.

Come experience the simplicity of lake life at Austin Surf Lodge.

Manifestation is real ya’ll! It’s wild that just 3 months after we sat down and wrote out our dreams and goals we found ourselves taking action to buy a lakefront property and realize our dreams of having a Wellness and Wakesurfing Micro-resort lakefront. 🏄‍♂️ ☀️ 🤠

And here we are just one year later, floating on Lake Travis, at sunset after a wakesurf charter, heading back to our cozy cabins to light the sauna and host guests for what will be meaningful memories.

A guest shared that this weekend at Austin Surf Lodge was healing for her family. Her children lost their father suddenly earlier this year and then she battled cancer for the last several months. Their time here, bonding, swimming, surfing and sauna was exactly the healing energy they needed as a family. And I’m so grateful she shared this and so incredibly humbled to know that my dream of creating this place is so impactful for others. 🫶🏻

When you land your first 360 but then you forget you need to keep surfing. 🤙 It might be Fall but the weather is amazing and there will be plenty of more days on the water to keep surfing. Gotta love Texas weather.
