when i started working on from their table to mine, i knew i wanted to honor my family’s legacy. what i didn’t anticipate was just how many parts of myself i’d bring to the process.

the storyteller. the home cook. the creative. the strategist. the producer. the girl who loves nice things lol.

somewhere between developing recipes, designing a culinary experience, building partnerships and bringing an entire vision to life, i was reminded that my interests, experiences and gifts don’t have to exist in separate boxes. i thank God for making room for me to think clearly and wholly. it’s refreshing.

all of our skills, talents and gifts have a seat at the same table.

this is the story behind the story. the inheritance, the imagination, the work and the people who helped make it possible.

What happens when young adults stop waiting for permission and start shifting the narrative?
When I joined the team at @trinitychgo , I envisioned a spiritual hub for the movement with Gen Z and millennials. That vision became the Adulting While Black Summit.

This year, we gathered as a narrative-shifting generation, inspired by a young adult named Jesus in Luke 4:18. It was more than a convening—it was a catalyst, bringing together young adults of faith, community leaders, artists, and organizers committed to building an everyday people’s movement.

First ✨Mother’s Day Soirée✨ in the books & it was the perfect way to kick off the weekend!! Got to spend time with some of my favorite mommy friends while also getting to meet new ones. This was my vision for the afternoon, to nurture and expand our network of mothers because I could not survive motherhood without my tribe.
