One of the things nobody really teaches us about getting older is that we can start to lose the natural color in our lips.

Look at Cameron.

Her bottom lip still has so much of its natural pigment that it almost looks like she's wearing lip liner. She isn't. That's her lip.

But look at the top. You can actually see where some of that natural color has started to disappear.

And this matters because your natural lip color is part of the contrast and structure of your face. If we turned Cameron into grayscale, that missing color would affect how clearly the lip reads and how balanced the face feels.

It's also why gloss alone can stop looking the way it used to. Gloss gives you shine, but it doesn't necessarily put back the definition that has slowly disappeared.

So I'm not trying to give Cameron a different lip.

I'm putting back her own natural lip color, only where it's missing.

That's what natural makeup means to me.

Not "wear nothing."

Not "make yourself over."

Understand what has changed, put back what you need, and stop when it looks like you.

I cannot even keep up with the posting 🤣🤣 day #2 in the new studio. I love it!

Soo much to do and sort out but best decision.

And to answer a few questions:
Yes I'll be doing makeup (one of the main reasons I'm going to a smaller space) and YES I will be selling makeup.

I am researching new manufacturers to do business with. One of main companies I was using for Authentic Beauty went out of business with no notice. I have been researching but it has been soo much while making this transition.

It takes some time developing a relationship and now that I have made 8 products (about to be 9) I have a whole new perspective.

If you are having trouble finding an appointment I'm so sorry. I'm booked for weeks. Call 404-849-0443 and get on the waiting list! People cancel! Dont wait for something to be available on the app.

Eighteen years.

Today I locked the door for the last time.

What started as a tiny dream became a place where friendships were built, confidence was restored, tears were shared, laughter echoed, and thousands of women sat in my chair and trusted me with their stories.

Over the past few weeks, so many people have stopped by to share memories, tell me what Authentic Beauty meant to them, and remind me of moments I had long forgotten. It has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

Today there were hugs, tears, laughter, and one final walk out the red door.

I am deeply grateful for every client, every team member, every lesson, every challenge, and every beautiful moment that happened within these walls.

Authentic Beauty changed my life.

And now it's time for the next chapter.

With a full heart and so much gratitude...

Over the past 18 years, @authenticbeautyllc has become so much more than a studio. It has been a place filled with artistry, transformation, friendship, reinvention, laughter, life changes, celebrations, and memories that I will carry forever.

After 18 years at 4674 Roswell Road, I’ve made the decision to close the doors on this chapter of @authenticbeautyllc and step into what’s next.

What we built inside this space has meant more to me than I could ever fully express.

Over nearly two decades, we’ve touched thousands of lives. We’ve shared weddings, reinventions, motherhood, celebrations, heartbreak, grief, growth, laughter, transformation, and so many ordinary Tuesdays that somehow became unforgettable.

Babies who once sat in the studio while their mothers had their brows done are now graduating college, getting married, and having children of their own.

What a privilege it has been to walk alongside so many women through the seasons of their lives.

I have loved this space deeply. I have fought hard for it, believed in it, grown inside it, and poured my heart into every corner of it.

And now it’s time for evolution.

I’m not going anywhere. I’ll still be seeing clients, shaping brows, teaching, creating, and continuing the work I was put here to do — just in a more intentional way that allows me to focus more deeply on my bigger mission through Authentic Beauty, The Image Journey, and @genuistbeauty.

More details are coming soon, including celebration days, studio archive shopping, and what this next chapter will look like.
