Amelia and her friend Sarah head to the Colony Carnivale. She meets a tall, dark, handsome stranger who shakes his head at her for not to take the drink for the Delirium tent.
He says she’s special and he wants to keep her. She finds out that the guy is Dario, the Showmaster.

A year later, Amelia is a clown. She runs the pendulum ride during the day and at night the confession booth with Tyler. She decides who lives or ☠️

Hilary takes her husband to the Carnivale. He’s a bit of a party-pooper so she’s hoping for a bit of fun. She’s not happy in her marriage but wants to do something together. They end up in the confession booth.

Enjoyed the characters and the story.

HALLOWEEN TREAT by Deanna Soleil 📚🖤🎃

Okay, book besties… let’s talk about MACK! 🥵🔥

First of all, a Halloween party in a GRAVEYARD?! ⚰️🎃👻 Now THAT is my kind of spooky-season setup! Give me creepy vibes, a little darkness, and a Halloween atmosphere that sets the mood for a fun seasonal read!

But let’s be real for a second… MACK. 🥵🖤🔥 HOT AND PROTECTIVE?! Excuse me while I need a minute! 😂 There’s just something about a man who’s protective that makes him even more attractive. Mack definitely brings the heat, and I’m not complaining! ❤️‍🔥👀

Between the graveyard setting and a man like Mack, this Halloween treat has the ingredients to catch a dark romance lover’s attention. ⚰️🖤🎃 Sometimes the fictional man really IS the treat!

💌 A big thank-you to Deanna Soleil for sharing Halloween Treat with me! I always love discovering authors and showing their work some love. Supporting authors and adding new reads to my ever-growing TBR is always a win! 📚❤️

🔥 Final verdict: A GRAVEYARD Halloween party? YES. A HOT, PROTECTIVE MACK? ABSOLUTELY. 🥵⚰️🖤

Now, book besties… are we running away from the graveyard or following Mack into the darkness? Asking for research purposes, obviously. 😂🎃🔪

Review: Are you ready to confess? If not, I wouldn't step into Amelia tent, you might not come back out. Definitely a good read, because this one goes straight into the confession booth. Which you should never lie in cuz Amelia and Tyler will know when you lie. Again great book from this series! And it just shows you not everyone is made for the main event, but are there for all those booths to still help the carnival.

🎪🎢🔪 Happy Release Day 🔪🎢🎪
Confess by @author_deannsoleil is available TODAY! This series has me in a chokehold! 🤭😍
“Little do they know that coziness disappears once the sun goes down and the freaks come out.”

Whoa!!! Millie does not play around! I love how people just happen to get a random invitation to the Carnivale! Almost like it’s choosing its own carnies! 🤭🥴 When Millie showed up to the Carnivale she had no idea how much her life would change! Dario decided to keep her, and keep her he did! Millie and Tyler run the Confession Booth and “The rules are simple in my tent. Confess or die.” 👀 Ahhh this book was another fantastic read! Carnivale is a place for all to find their darkest desires!🔪🩸
Hilary gets to learn all about that when her hubby doesn’t want to tell the truth! Whew, talk about some retribution! 👏🏼🥴 Loved this book!!!
“Whatever it is, my mind is blown.” Umm yeah mine too homegirl! 🤯

Confess or Die. This story was such a quick, spicy, violent read that I absolutely loved. Millie was a strong character filled with insight and female rage that I am here for. The introduction of Hilary was an interesting addition and I am intrigued to see where her place is in the Carnivale. The whole concept for this novella was fascinating and reminded me a lot of the Egyptian death judgement with Anubis. If anything this attraction and tent has become a favorite and I cannot wait for more. Until next time, happy reading
