𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 — 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐉. 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐧

There’s something so special about returning to characters you already know and love, especially when you get to see how it all began.

I think The Crown Tower was even more enjoyable for me because I read it after finishing the Riyria Revelations trilogy. Knowing the friendship Royce and Hadrian eventually build made watching their unlikely partnership take shape that much more precious. I absolutely adore these two. Their personalities couldn’t be more different, yet they complement each other so perfectly, each making up for what the other lacks. Their banter, their differences, and the gradual development of their friendship made this such a delightful read.

I’ve been deep in my classics era lately, and while I’m nowhere near ready to leave it behind, I’m so glad I picked this one up. It’s been such a refreshing change of pace to return to a fantasy world and characters I already adore.

Michael J. Sullivan has reminded me why I fell in love with Riyria in the first place. Sometimes there’s just as much joy in discovering how a beloved story began as there is in finding out how it ends.

Thank you @will_readsatnight for gifting me these two books! ☺️🫶🏼✨

📚 Masters of Their Craft Part 1 📚

Some authors write great books. Others make you wonder how the hell they manage to be THIS good at what they do 😂

From breathtaking battles and emotional devastation to unforgettable friendships, brilliant banter, and incredible worldbuilding, these five authors have completely won me over.

They're all masters of their craft in their own way, and I wanted to share exactly why I love their writing so much 🧡

And yes, there will be a Part 2!

⁉️ Which authors do you consider absolute masters of their craft?

Os meus “10 before the end”.

E qual destes devo ler primeiro?

Mais fantasia, romance e romantasy por aqui ✨

I just wanted to show my appreciation to all these generous authors for participating in this giveaway! I feel so fortunate to have won the grand prize! As you can see from the second page, most of my books have arrived and make an impressive TBR stack! I have read books by a couple of these authors, but most are new to me. I will post my reviews on Goodreads as I finish each title to share my thoughts! There are two authors who I was not able to tag and they are Anthony Tardiff and Marlo Kloos. Obviously, my Instagram posting skills are pretty basic. (My fifth post ever 😅) But I feel these authors deserve recognition for letting a simple ( but avid!) reader enter their giveaway. 💕

It’s time for another quarterly favorites roundup! These are the books that stood out to me as favorites from my reading July-September. Listed in order read and not any order of preference.

Have you read any of these? What books have you been loving the past few months?

Final Fantasy is cool and so are fantasy books so here are books that may fit the vibe of your favorite, and if not, just ignore me, I'm not your dad

I skipped the MMO games because I know absolutely nothing about their stories lol 🧙🏻

And to think they’re family… 😒📚

The entire Sunday Readers Bookclub now owns Out of the Ashes. We could start it right now and return to Elan.

Did we vote on whether to read it next? Yes.
Did I lose? Also yes.
Am I handling the results with maturity and grace? Absolutely not. 😂

Apparently, we’re being “responsible” and finishing our current series first.

I respect the democratic process. I do not respect the outcome.

Christmas is coming. I will remember this. 🎄😂
