What I read last week & what's next on my TBR! 🍂📚
What have you read recently that you absolutely loved?
Drop me your recommendations and reads this week below!

Firstly, I just want to clarify that I do have a life or that I'm not some sort of abnormally fast reader! 🤣 Unfortunately, I've been off work recovering from being poorly, which has meant a lot of time to be able to read when I've not been writing or general Mum duties.

I've completely fallen down the Byrne Brothers rabbit hole and I'm not even sorry! I've just started Shae's story, I've absolutely loved her throughout the series she's such a badass! Can not wait to get to know her properly. ❤️
@jillramsowerauthor you've well and truly had me hooked!

TBR list this week has come from some recommendations floating around the Bookstagram community, so I've added a few new authors and books to my ever-growing TBR. I've had a sneaky peek at them all and I'm excited to get stuck in! @authoradrianabrinne @authoraisaac @a13danielleloriwrites

I’m a huge fangirl of Latina and indie authors all year round, but it feels extra special during Latinx Heritage Month, so today I’m sharing three books I’m super excited about and have already pre-ordered!
Swipe to see the tropes for each book.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!

May this month bring you new latino stories and may you learn something new about our cultures.

I have to confess something obvious: I don't read many books in Spanish.

Growing up reading in spanish was only for school and it was torture for me. I felt like my brain was wired in english and reading anything in spanish felt like I was reading a bad translation. Spanish class was a constant struggle 1st through 8th grade, and I remember feeling so ashamed that I stopped trying to find books that weren't in english. Thanks to my freshman year teacher I found my stride and ended up in AP spanish senior year, so yay me!

For the last few years I've been forcing myself to read at least one book in spanish, because it's time to grow up and get out of my comfort zone. One book may sound easy, but to me it feels like a great feat. So while I try to expand my horizons I leave you with these latino authors, you never know maybe you'll find the book that opens a new door for you.

Who are your favorite latino authors?
