QotD: Are you a fan of the fake dating trope?

I’ve given this a lot of thought, and I think the fake dating/fake engagement trope might be my favourite of all. There’s just something about 2 people not wanting to be in a relationship (with anyone) being surprised that they kinda sorta really like, love this other person. Also there is often some wonderful banter that goes along with this trope, and I am a sucker for wit & sarcasm. (Can you tell I grew up rewatching How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days?)
