Only the Small Bones — C.P. Harris 🖤

This is where it all began for me. My introduction to C.P. Harris, and the book that made me fall completely in love with her writing.

There’s something extraordinary about the worlds she creates. They’re dark, painful, sometimes devastating, yet somehow there’s always light waiting at the end.

I fell in love with the characters, their flaws, their love, and everything they had to fight through. Harris has this incredible ability to break your heart and make you grateful for every piece of it.

I had no idea when I picked up this book that I was discovering an author whose stories would stay with me long after the final page.

And then came Saving Sparrow… 🖤

🖤 Saving Sparrow — C.P. Harris 🖤

It’s been a while since I read this book, but I still remember how deeply it made me feel. ❤️

I’ll never forget what this story did to my heart. I was completely consumed by it. The beautiful storytelling, the unforgettable characters, and most of all, the love between these three men. So complicated, so raw, yet so incredibly beautiful.

I remember feeling absolutely heartbroken one moment and smiling through all those emotions the next. The pain, the tenderness, the sacrifices… I felt every bit of it. And I loved these three so much that sometimes it genuinely hurt to read what they were going through.

This wasn’t just a book I enjoyed. It was one I felt. Deeply. The kind that leaves you staring at the last page, not quite ready to let go.

Some stories fade with time. This one stayed with me. And even now, I wish I could experience it for the first time again. 🖤

⭐ 5/5

This book! It’s put me in such a reading slump because it was just SOOO GOOD!!! It was my first Vampire MM book - and OMG! Yes, please and thank you! 🔥🩸🔥
I loved every part of Gabriel and Nicholas’s story ❤️‍🔥 Gabriel is a 200 year old vampire who’s been waiting for his blood bound mate to be reborn, Nicholas is his blood bound mate’s soul reincarnated but also about to go in to the seminary before he realizes he’s in the midst of transitioning to a vampire himself. Obviously - there’s so much more to this story and it was told soo soo well. I loved the writing. You can’t help but feel and fall in love with both sides of their story. And Gabriel - his yearning for Nicholas…..it’s perfection!
Their ‘union’ was one of the best spice scenes I’ve ever read, along with their love declarations……I just can’t, absolute top tier and seriously the reason for this slump because I’m just not sure anything can top it! It’s a HEA for them, but the book leaves on such a huge unknown and I am DYING for the next book!

@authorcharris_ - this book is PHENOMENAL and I cannot wait to read the rest of this series!!

🎃 13 DAYS UNTIL HALLOWEEN! 🔪

Is anyone else as excited as I am, because I’m ready for all things spooky, slutty, and a little fucked up. 😈

I figured why not have a little fun with a 13 day Halloween countdown. 1 book rec and 1 question every day. Will I actually remember to post all 13 days? That’s a problem for future me. 😂

Let’s see how this goes! 🖤🔪 also huge tank you to @kierofoxen for this amazing zombie unicorn!

Today’s question: 👀
What’s your Halloween costume vibe? Scary, slutty, or gruesome enough to scare someone?
