What book would you give anything to read again for the first time? 📚

Well hello there bookworms, I'm back have you missed me?

11 days, 153 hours, 148,883 steps and 76.342 miles later...Gladiators 2026 is complete!! 🎉

It's been a very long slog I must say, but it will be worth it come payday.

So dear bookworms as I enter back into the bookstagram world I wanted to share my top 15 5-star reads.

I do this in the hope that you'll add them to your own tbr pile, then I'll have more people to talk to about them!

Also before we get onto the bookish goodness have you seen that Teenage Cancer Trust are hosting a reading fundraiser through September?

I've decided to sign up to it, you can either do it solo or in a team. If you fancy being in a team please message and let me know, let's raise some money for an amazing charity!

I'm still walking 100 miles this month for Scotty's Little Soldiers so please follow along my walking journey this month.

So without further ado I introduce to you...the 15!

Tell me bookworms if you could magically step into one 5-star book world, which would you choose? Let me know in the comments below, happy reading! ✨

Let's play this or that...

📚 Digital ARC 📱 or Physical ARC 📖

📚 Read immediately or save for closer to publication?

📚 Leave detailed notes or write your review from memory?

📚 Goodreads first or Instagram first?

📚 One ARC at a time or five at once?

Happy bookstack Wednesday bookworms and what a stack it is today!

I'd say we've grown quite a bit over the past 4 years, wouldn't you bookworms?

I absolutely love arc and beta reading, to think I am reading a book to then review it to generate excitement brings me so much joy.

To think that I started with the most amazing indie authors to now getting sent books from publishers blows my mind!

I love reading both indie and traditionally published books and am so grateful to all authors and publishers who have and continue to send me their books.

Also peep a peek at my first beta book Era of the Moon by the fabulous @authorsfrasher, her books will forever be my favourite.

I'd highly recommend all books included in this reel as they are all absolutely amazing!

Thank you again for letting me read, review, edit and love your books I am extremely grateful.

So bookworms which book would you love to arm read? Let me know in the comments below ✨

you all know i suck at marketing so this is my best attempt to join the trend ✨

I think we can all agree that the characters in Heirs of the Cursed need at least two therapy sessions a week and some vacations after all the trauma they go through

For fantasy readers who love:

🥀 curse of stone
👑 lost heirs
⚔️ enemies - lovers dynamic
🪽 childhood lovers
🗝️ secret identities
🖤 weak only for her
🔥 spicy scenes
⚖️ who did this to you?
💀 touch her and die

tagging some of my favorite girls to join!

We're 7 months in, what's your favourite book so far this year?

Happy Sunday bookworms, how are you today?

This is a different kind of shelfie Sunday, instead it's a selfie Sunday!

It's been a while since I've introduced myself and there's a lot of new bookworms around so without further ado...

Hi, my name is Georgie (aka The Little Bookkeeper), I am a romantasy reader who sometimes dabbles in a bit of mystery.

My bookstagram is 3 years old, I originally started it to share my love of reading and we have grown since then!

I am an arc and beta reader for all authors whether they be traditionally published or indie.

Here are my top 10 favorite authors and books:

✨ @authorsfrasher: Rise of the Sun (beta) and Accidental Puck Bunny (arc)

✨ @authorchiaragala: The Goddess and the Hawk (arc)

✨ @isabelibanezbooks: Where The Library Hides (arc)

✨ @rmgillig: The Knight and the Moth (arc)

✨ @heather_fawcett: Emily Wilde's Map of the Other lands (arc)

✨ @cosyreads: Midnight in Everwood

✨ @hannahnicolemae: Assistant to the Villain

✨ @erinmorgenstern: The Night Circus

✨ @meganambxr: Love at first Knight

✨ @queryqueen339: Drown me with Dreams

I have read 20 books this year and my current read is Flawless by Elsie Silver (@authorelsiesilver).

This book was recommended to me by a friend, when I say recommended she basically told me to read it...or else! 😂

So, tell me bookworms why did you join bookstagram? Let me know in the comments below ✨

How do you choose which book to read next? 📖

Happy Thursday bookworms, tomorrow is friyay and I'm off for a week!!

The rest is needed let me tell you, in true teacher style I have got some lesson planning and marking to do...what's the phrase I'm looking for?

No rest for the wicked? 🤔😅

How are you doing this week? Has it been a good one, meh or pure poop?

I've come to realise that I'm definitely a mood reader, when I plan my monthly hopefuls I like to think about what mood I'm in and which books I fancy...

Obviously, it can all change (which is fine with me) but I try to stick to it the best I can!

Let's play a game shall we?

Whichever book you see first is the book you need to read next, which one are you drawn to?

Let me know in the comments below! ✨

P.s did you notice that I've had a little rearrange? How good does it look now, I love it!?

Who is your favourite female author? 📚

I missed doing bookstack Wednesday so for this week only...

Happy Bookstack Saturday!!

That works right? 😅

Happy International Women's Day Bookworms!

I gave myself a good talking to yesterday because I've been low recently and I felt so much better!

I've decided that I'm going to start and do daily affirmations:

✨ I am enough
✨ I am a badass
✨ I will achieve my dreams
✨ I am beautiful
✨ I will find love
✨ I won't be alone forever
✨ I can do this
✨ I will do this

And I am going to say these everyday until they sink in...which could take 50+ years knowing me!

Here are some of my favourite female authors and main characters.

These female protagonists are completely badass, confident, doesn't need help from anyone and stands up for what is right.

Thank you ladies for writing such empowering female characters for me to look up to and admire...now I just need to become a badass confident main character of my own story.

So tell me bookworms, which women do you admire? Let me know in the comments below ✨

In 2024, I fell in love. And then I fell in love again. And again. And again. And again.

Thank you to every single person in my life that made this year the year it was. Thank you for showing me that love does not only exist within the confines of my relationship (though we are so deeply, deeply in love) but also in the way that my friends make me belly laugh and hold my hand when I get scared. Thank you for continuously showing me that love exists everywhere I look, whether it is in the freezing temperatures of the irish coast, in the pouring rain in Finsbury Park or in the sweaty corner of a bar.

I would love to write a love letter to 2024, but really this is just a love letter to my loved ones. Thank you for dancing/laughing/singing/playing/celebrating/grieving/loving/crying/praying/standing beside me this year, thank you for being apart of this year. Thank you for being human with me.

Thank you 2024, for bringing me the most precious friendships and the most wonderful boyfriend in the world. This year has brought me more love than I could have ever imagined.

See you on the flip side🫡
