ASPEN
The holidays are supposed to be a happy time, especially in a town where they’re celebrated so enthusiastically. This year, I’m not only mourning the loss of my beloved grandmother, but also the bakery where we made some of my most cherished memories. When an ill-timed trip to the grocery store makes it impossible to get back home, I go to the only place I know will be safe, warm, and—most importantly—empty. At least until it isn’t.
Slater Snow gave me two unforgettable months that ended way too soon, and whether he knew it or not, he took a little piece of me with him the day he left. Now he’s back and all grown up, making me feel something again after what has easily been the hardest year of my life. But with a future of uncertainty looming right beyond the storm, and my career as a baker on thin ice, can I find some last-minute holiday magic in the only boy who’s ever had my heart?
SLATER
Eight years ago, I left the small town of Inkberry, Maine, to live out my dream of becoming a professional baseball player. It’s kept me busy, but this year, I decided to spend the holidays in the place I once called home. Fortunately, I make it to my family’s cabin right before the storm of the century rolls through, but I’m shocked to find someone else in my bed when I arrive.
Aspen Winterbourne will always be the one who got away. I’ve thought about her a million times since the day we said goodbye, wishing that our summer fling hadn’t ended before I got a chance to tell her what she meant to me. I’m determined not to make the same mistake twice, but will a week snowed-in together be long enough to rekindle an old flame, or will I end up freezing all over again?

Books I Had FOMO Over (so I read them)

Listen, I’m a type A personality, Virgo sun, Virgo rising, Perfectionist.. I have the worst fomo you could ever have. Over ANYTHING. EVERYTHING. It’s unhealthy honestly. So you know when I feel like I’m missing out.. I’m gonna make myself not feel like I’m missing out 🤣

Here are some books I cured my fomo with, and the last slide has those ones that I’m going to be getting to ASAP.

Do you also get fomo over books? 👇🏻💜
