As a second year DCU scholar. We don’t play about Desiree but we definitely don’t play about @authorgranger

The Three Brothers aka When a Wolf Loves the Moon book reveal was a vibe @twistedspinebookshop found our tribe.

I enjoy meeting wholesome down to earth and funny authors. The best part for me was hearing the raw thought process behind my favorite characters scenes and plot twist. 10/10 highly recommend.

Shout out to @twistedspinebooks for hosting @authorgranger The Three Brothers Book Launch. It was a whole vibe.

The vibes were vibing and FINALLY able to meet my favorite mystical author for black people.

We SOLD OUT all the available books in the store.

She said she's gonna come back and visit us.... I'm going to hold Miss Granger to that. But see you CUBE27!

And will be back to THIS bookstore as well. It's my kinda vibe.

Come with me to The Three Brothers book launch at the @twistedspinebooks in Brooklyn.

I finally got to meet @authorgranger in person and she said she loved my whole student look (nobody panic). I’m so glad I got to hear about her inspo behind the series, her characters, her writing process, merch (bc this jacket 🔥🔥), other books, what’s next, and more! Man, these people were asking really great questions!

I loved the dark moody vibes too, it fit the event perfectly. I wish I could’ve browsed the shelves too, but ya girl was beat!

Not bad for 4 weeks post surgery but I DEF paid for it by the end of the night 😮‍💨 But I also refuse to let Breast Cancer deter me from living my life 🩷

POV: you wanted Hogwarts but grown, Black, and full of vampires 🧛🏾‍♀️

Drew Collins University series by @authorgranger is it!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The secret school 🏫
Hogwarts hides in the Scottish Highlands. Drew Collins University is a hidden HBCU under the streets of Atlanta, where necromancy is an actual major.

The chosen one 🧛🏾‍♀️
Harry finds out at 11 that he’s famous. Maggie is a grad student who finds out her grandmother’s “superstitions” were true, and that her white hair comes from the most feared bloodline in the Underground.

The squad 🧜🏾‍♀️🧛🏾‍♀️👸🏿
Instead of the golden trio you get a priestess, a scarred siren, a water-bending nymph, and Quan, a talking cat with more attitude than Crookshanks ever had 🐈‍⬛

The rival 🐺
Draco who? Namir is a werewolf whose family has hated hers for generations, and the tension is a lot more than rivalry 👀

The mystery
Every Harry Potter book has a mystery. Here a murder rocks campus and Maggie is the suspect.

Why the Drew Collins series is so good
It draws its magic from Black history and folklore, it’s built for adult readers, it mixes dark academia with romance and murder mystery. Get ready to binge these yall!

Harry Potter walked so Maggie Grey could bite 🩸

Hogwarts was ok..but the Drew Collins series gave me the magic school I didn’t know I needed as an adult 🖤 A hidden HBCU, a feared vampire bloodline, a messy werewolf, and a talking cat named Quan. Have you started Maggie’s story yet? 👇
