Hello!

I thought I'd share a little preview of things to come. I've been working on turning one of my rooms into a library. We've currently moved my husbands gaming set up into the living room downstairs and have the room ready to paint.

I have my eye on Benjamin Moore's Twilight 2058-10 color for the wall colors. (Credit to Erin Williamson Design: https://erinwilliamsondesign.com/portfolio)

I also have picked out some artwork from ladyeruart for different series that I love. (The Wingless King, Scorpion Deep TBR, Hazelthorn, Don't Let the Forest In.) I also have some art prints from litpinsandco.

I have recieved them, but I'm still waiting on the beautiful editions of Hazelthorn, Scorpion Deep, and Don't Let the Forest In.

I have some other little beautiful goodies for my library coming in the mail and will keep you updated as they arrive or as I change the space.

My goal is to have this done by the winter holidays for my present.

| The Wingless King Series

The Wingless King was my very first ARC and I need you all to read this YA dark fantasy series. I am so incredibly excited (and scared) for @authorkcwassem's next book.

| The Wingless King

This is an amazing and captivating story with magical writing and a touch of madness.

The world building, the concept and the execution were great! You get different POVs, timelines and glimpses of the lost memories Seren desperately wants to remember. And when he finally remembered, it hit me hard (I was sobbing for a few minutes straight). I got goosebumps all over my body so many times while reading and couldn't put that book down, it kept getting better and better. The way K.C. Wassem executed certain scenes just blew my mind, it was just so well done.

You'll find many interesting characters along the way and possibly are going to fall for Jude. I loved him from the very first moment, he's such a flirt and so funny. (& I'm rooting for my Juren ship)

| The Ruined King

There's so much going on. We learn many things, get glimpses into Seren's and Jude's past, there's some kissing and tension going on and too many near death experiences. Sorrows and Prayers. This book is handing us death, chaos and destruction and I'm here for it.

.☘︎ ݁˖ “𝐀 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦, 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.” .☘︎ ݁˖

I want my babies to be happy, is that too much to ask for 😭
My poor baby Jude went through it, pls leave him alone! (I'm looking at you K.C. Wassem 🤨) I'm still hurt. His pain is my pain, so don't hurt him in the next book(s).

⋆.˚ ☾ "𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐞, 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐟 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐤𝐲, 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞." ⭒.˚⋆

The different perspectives are very interesting and I am simply obsessed with the writing style. K.C. Wassem really has a way with words and the storytelling and world building are fantastic!

I think August has been my worst reading month of the year. It started off strong with me finishing three books in three days, but then I fell off hard. I had to rearrange my TBR. However, I still plan to finish all of these books by the end of 2026.

Any books listed with stars have been finished. Not all of the reviews are posted, but they are coming!

Books marked as "currently reading", are books that I'm still reading. Those reviews will be coming out shortly as well!

Books marked as "moved" have been added back to my TBR. I have a pretty packed September, as I'm going to be doing Hockey Bingo with @perpetual.pages and my October will be full as well, since I'll be attempting to read ALL of season 2 of @mayhem_manuscripts. I will be adding those 'moved' to November and December's TBR.

Books marked as "MOVED - New Buddy Read" have been added another list for me and my friend to complete. We are currently finishing Chasing Fields and going to be moving to Ink Eater next. I'll have those reviews up as soon as we're done with the books. (We do have a list of books to read together and we will be working on them.)

just wanted to share some of my favourite people I follow, as any writer would be able to enjoy and find benefit in following these accounts.

Are there any accounts you follow that you think I’d love?

Looking for a new indie author 👀👀

This just barely scrapes the surface of who I am, but just know I’ll always be there one to offer transparency, safety, and a helluva lot of dark humor 😂

Book Blurb:

With no memories of his past, eighteen-year-old Seren awakens in the forbidden Godless City held captive by a scientist. After a daring escape alongside a hired mercenary, Seren finds himself the target of a relentless pursuit by the Novem Council, the rulers of the city.

Forced to flee, Seren sets out for his so-called homeland, Lumina, accompanied by the mercenary and a runaway princess from the sinister Sanguine Sisters.

Their path is unexpectedly derailed, entwining Seren in the perilous fate of the princess. Determined to save her, he faces trials that unravel the fragments of his forgotten history.

Meanwhile, as the Veil’s barriers weaken, the corrupted realm between the Gods and humanity hangs in the balance. With the demons of the Veil threatening to take over the world, Seren realizes he may play a pivotal role. But first, he will have to confront his past—one that is darker than he could have ever imagined.
