🏒 My Hockey Romance Era!

If you know me, you know I love a sports romance. This weekend my friend and I were able to attend such a fun event, Hockey Romance Night hosted by @shelflovedsm ☺️

This was so much fun! I met so many kind authors, met fellow book lovers, watched a Hockey game, and of course came home with a book haul!

Special thank you to the authors and Shelf Love for an amazing Saturday!

Holy smokes what an amazing Saturday afternoon and night I had this past weekend. I got the opportunity to talk with so many people, some faces new, some faces old friends. I got speak with different authors who I have both loved since their first book or authors who I’ve just started reading. Thank you @shelflovedsm for putting together Hockey Romance Night, it was such a joy to attend.

First author stop is @authorbalkhabra whose books I have been reading since their first book original publication in 2023 (the next slide has the proof, I promise). It was so exciting to get to meet Bal, as I am a huge fan of hers and I cannot wait to read her newest love story coming up. Time to dive into Cowboy Romance :)

Here is my original copy of Collide, it does not match my other three ‘Off the Ice’ books, so Bal wrote “The OG” on the page 💗

Ladies and gentlemen may I present to you @authorlaureamatthews aka a human bottle of positive energy. I felt so blessed to be in her presence, she is genuinely such a happy person. It’s not every day an author asks YOU for a hug! I’m over halfway through ‘Cold as Ice’ right now and I can’t wait for ‘Sweet as Sin’ to come out this November!

Shelf Love DSM Hockey Romance Signing 🏒💕

I had the best afternoon! I spent it with my friend Annika in Des Moines, Iowa at a hockey romance signing. I brought some books but came away with a big haul!

I got to meet so many amazing authors! Peyton Corrine was here on a tour stop for “Undone” so I got to see her again! I also got to meet Chelsea Curto (she was the first one I went to!) and she was the best! I also recently read Pru Schuyler and loved her book so meeting her was fun! Really, everyone was fun! What you can expect from an author event!

Not only that, but we’re going to the Iowa Wild game tonight. We got VIP tickets, so we’ll be in the suite with the authors! Fangirling hard right now! Gotta keep it together!

If you could watch a sports game with an author of your choosing (maybe who writes that sport?), who would it be?

I’m seriously gonna be living my dream with it tonight!
