𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: Somebody hold me because I am not okay. This book was an emotional rollercoaster that had me screaming, crying, and throwing my Kindle. Lia Tinoco has officially earned a permanent spot on my “authors who get me” list.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀:

𝗭𝗼𝗲:Our girl is a certified ice queen with a marshmallow heart. She’s dramatic, stubborn, and occasionally made me want to shake her, but honestly? She’s also so relatable. Her way of showing love through small gestures melted my heart.

𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀: Sweet, loyal, and emotionally mature (chef’s kiss). He’s the kind of guy who’ll fight for you even when you’re running scared, and I’d like to order one for myself, please.

Their dynamic is everything: Zoe is scared of people leaving, and Miles? The king of loyalty who’s not going anywhere. They’re the perfect “fight for it” couple.

The Kiss of Deception is the perfect mix of swoony romance, laugh-out-loud banter, and gut-wrenching emotions. It’s got all the cozy vibes for a weekend binge, but it also hits you with deep moments that’ll stick with you.

The Kiss Of Deception by @authorliatinoco
Available on Kindle Unlimited

⚽️ Blurb ⚽️

When journalist Zoe Westwood attempts to expose the scandalous secret that threatens to tarnish Miles Blackstein's career, he must stop her by any means necessary.

But the soccer star ends up forging a whole different scandal in the process.

With the world enamored with their supposed fairy tale, Zoe and Miles have no choice but to smile and live happily ever after... or, in this case, unhappily, until the dust settles and they can write The End under their fictitious love story.

Then, they can go back to tolerating each other from a safer distance—as far away as front door neighbors can be.

But as they navigate all the ramifications of their fake relationship, the line between reality and deceit is bound to get blurry, and they find themselves wondering what's truth and what's tale.

THE KISS OF DECEPTION.

The preface to the perfect story; a carefully crafted lie woven together by loves and loyalties, secrets and scandals.

Zoe Westwood & Miles Blackstein are a fairy tale.

Fictitious, false.

Forever.

4.3 🌟🌟🌟 🌟

There is absolutely no way I can ever get over this book... The book has been literally a continuous emotional rollercoaster that kept me on my toes till the very end.... I am speechless. I don't know where to start where to end but God knows, I thank you author for giving us a book like this... 🎀

I can't say there were times I wanted to bash both the heads of our Miles and Zoe (mostly Zoe) but somehow somewhere along the way I fell in love with her the most.... Be it her stubbornness or her way of showing love and care through gifts and for obvious my fav part was when she gave the gift to Miles. At the same time I also hated the parts, when she was unnecessarily dramatic, sometimes I did felt her like that but I can see that's how both of them fit together.....

As for Miles, can any word will be ever enough of what he is? Or how is? Starting from never giving up on her, though yep I also didn't liked the part how the whole Lucy incident we never got to see the outcome (which I really wanted) and also that Cunning Cox, I absolutely enjoyed the banter.. (Period) The slow burn made my skin itch quite literally and figuratively. But I wouldn't trade it for the world... Also wanted to see more improvements in the family dynamics... Even if it was in one chapter... Loved all the emotional parts with the grandfather (Tobias Westwood) have my heart... And I definitely enjoyed the character developments even if it was a long late by the end but I am happy you have given the part but I also understand why it was delayed so NO hard- feelings but yeah could have been better.

The fake-dating , the arrangement everything was great I mean really great, the book is really different from many other slow burn romance and sports Romance or fake dating trope... But indeed I am feeling empty after completing it now. Also a perfect book for a fun read on the weekends specially in this season of Autumn... It was absolutely amazing to have this ride with you... 🎀

There were certain minor grammatical errors which I personally felt like, the word building was a really great part, sarcasms and everything...

Want to read more books of her @authorliatinoco 💗

🩵 The Kiss of Deception by @authorliatinoco Review 🩵

⚽️ Fake Dating
🩵 Black Cat GF x Golden Retriever BF
⚽️ Sports Romance
🩵 Athlete x Journalist
⚽️ Forced Proximity
🩵 He's obsessed with her

Zoe Westwood is a football journalist who barely tolerates –absolutely can't stand– her neighbor Miles Blackstein, the football (soccer) star with dimples and a bright smile.
But to the world, they're a beautiful love story, a fairytale in the sports world.
In reality they're a facade, just pretending for people's eyes.

A fake dating, slow burn sports romance that started with a simple, innofensive hug...

Sometimes, I was reading in the train and had to control my face because Miles teasing and defending Zoe made me giddy!! 🤗
Miles never hid the fact that he wanted Zoe from the very beginning while she was obviously. I can tell you that I clearly wouldn’t have been!
He cares a lot about her. He pays attention to her. He brings her flowers. A cute, yet flirty, golden retriever boyfriend who's been obsessed with Zoe ever since he laid eyes on her!
Zoe may seemed closed off at first, almost rude, but when you keep reading you see how she was forced and molded to be the way she is. She has been hurt and that had cosequences on how she constructed herself, but she finds comfort in Miles.

A cute and funny debut novel, with a sassy FMC and a protective and hilarious MMC.✨️
These two together are sarcastic and funny.
That slow burn shows the mouth Miles has 😗 but also gives Zoe the opportunity to discover the real Miles and not the version she has made up in her head.

The Kiss of Deception is available on Amazon and free on Kindle Unlimited!

Thank you again to @authorliatinoco ! 🫶
I don't know what you'll write next, hopefully Camila & Nicholas' story ,or maybe Rodrigo's, but I'll be here waiting.

This book was absolutely perfect. The author did an amazing job with the emotions throughout the entire book. I felt like I was a part of the journey between the two characters and it was such a devastating but amazing book.

Miles was down bad for Zoe and I loved it so much! This book is literally a boy who has a crush on a pretty girl and he keeps tugging on her pigtails. The banter between the two of them was absolutely phenomenal and I was at the edge of my seat ready for the back and forth between them. I was skeptical at first with Miles, thinking he had a dirty and dark secret - the reason for Zoe hating him - but I was happy that it wasn’t the case. The fake dating trope always kills me, but honestly, I loved it so much in this book. These two were actually together the whole time, and they didn’t realize it! Well, Miles knew what he wanted, we just had to wait for Zoe to catch up with him.

This is definitely a slow burn, but the build-up leading to that moment was worth every page. I loved that it wasn’t for stupid reasons that Zoe finally was willing to let her walls down, but it was all measured and strategically written by the author. The comfort that these two characters brought each other was beautiful and I was feeling soft for them. They were truly a match made in heaven.

I cannot recommend this book enough! Please, please give it a shot, you will not regret it!

Tropes:
Frenemies to Lovers
But He’s Obssesed
Black Cat & Golden Retriever
Hurt/Comfort
Athlete & Journalist
Fake Dating
Slowburn Sports Romance
