A nostalgic look back at our first Independent Roots event 📸✨

A brilliant day for all our independent retailers and Wandsworth community to come together.

So…should we do it again soon??👀

So long, summer😭👋🏼

You were so fun!! Pool days & pool parties, long lunches, late-night ice creams, creating art together and plenty of reasons to stay out just a little longer in the neighbourhood.

Here’s to squeezing every last bit out of summer at New Acres. ✨

🥑 A little gem I’ve discovered… Avo Man! 🥑

I recently popped into Avo Man in Wandsworth Town and I have to say, I absolutely loved it!

It’s a beautifully laid-out, welcoming store with such a fantastic range of products — I highly recommend a visit.

✨ Organic fruit & vegetables
🍞 Artisan breads & delicious sourdough
🌱 Gluten-free bread & pastas
🌴 Fresh dates & figs
🥤 Freshly made protein shakes & juices
🐾 And even better… it’s dog-friendly!

There’s such a lovely focus on fresh, wholesome, quality foods, making it a great place to pick up nutritious ingredients and discover something new.

A special mention to the lovely owner, Yazu, who made us feel so welcome from the moment I walked in and spoilt my dog Maisie.
Such a warm and friendly atmosphere.

If you’re looking for somewhere with a great selection of fresh, nutritious and wholesome foods, I would highly recommend giving Avo Man a visit!

One pool. A very good cast. And a questionable inflatable zebra.

From poolside cocktails and independent retailers to DJs, wellness, games and a little bit of chaos - Cirque de Soirée was one for the books.

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s resident pool party happen. We’d do it all again. 🎪✨

Until the next one…
