Happy National Daughters Day to my Ava. 🤍

Watching you grow from my little girl into the young woman you are today has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

You are strong, independent, funny, beautiful, determined — and you definitely keep me on my toes. 😂 We may not always see eye to eye, but there is no one I will fight harder for, believe in more, or love more fiercely.

No matter how old you get or where life takes you, you will always be my little girl.

So proud to be your mom, Ava. I love you more than you’ll ever know. 🤍

Sophomore year ✨

New year. New room. New chapter.

There’s something so special about watching your daughter create a space that feels like her, and even more special watching her continue to grow into the young woman she’s becoming!

A little dorm room transformation, a lot of trips back and forth, and probably more opinions from Mom than she asked for 😂…but we got there.

Here’s to year two, new experiences, new friendships, big goals, and hopefully a little more studying than freshman year!🤍

So proud of you, Ava. Go make sophomore year count. ❤️

Happy 19th Birthday, my sweet Ava.
These past 19 years have been filled with so much joy, laughter, silliness, and love— more than I could have ever imagined. I feel incredibly blessed to be your mom and to call you the love of my life.

You inspire me every day and truly make me a better person. I’m so proud of the strong kind and beautiful woman you are becoming. Here’s 19 of my favorite memories of you!❤️

Keep reaching for the stars, my love… because you are one.

My baby girl is off to college!!

Watching you take this next big step is both the proudest & hardest moment for me as a mom. You’ve grown into such a brave, brilliant and beautiful young woman—ready to chase your dreams and make your mark on the world. My heart is bursting with pride, even as it aches a little knowing you’re spreading your wings. Still it’s hard to let go because you are not just my daughter—you are ky heart walking out into the world.

College may be your next chapter, but remember my love & home will always be your forever foundation. Spread your wings Ava…I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!!

And special thanks for my brother James, Masha, Iba & Victoria for helping me set up Ava’s dorm!!

Ava Degrave has been singing with me for a few years now and is a genuine pop singer. I love my theater voices (which she can also do!) but Ava needs a record deal!

We’ve recorded a handful of things together since she began studying with me and each end product is more exciting than the last! Not only is she a natural in the studio, she’s also the sweetest person and working with her weekly is always a highlight for me.

Ava heads to Lehigh University in the fall with a Political Science Major (PreLaw). I can think of no one better to represent someone in court. Ava is certain to succeed because she will accept nothing less!

Special shoutout to @soldbyfarahalli who is not only the best real estate agent in NJ (she literally got us our apartment) she’s also Ava’s awesome Mom.

Thanks to you both!!!
