Ava is a sophomore from Barbados studying Human Biology 🔬

In her free time she loves to lounge at the beach, travel, try new coffee shops, read a good book, and spend time with her family and friends! 🤸‍♀️👙🏖️

“As an international student joining as a COB, I was super nervous to join Aphi at first because I was joining halfway through the semester and felt like everyone already knew each other. However, from the day I joined, I’ve never felt more welcomed. The girls of Aphi immediately welcomed me with open arms and quickly became my second family.”

“I never felt out of place or scared. Whether it was eating meals at the house, or studying in the chapter room, someone was always there to sit by my side and make me feel at home.”

“Through Aphi, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many incredible women, including my favorite neighbors @sofiamcgoey and @ainsleyshaw , as well as @ems1j1 who became my guiding light when I first joined.”
