This past weekend, our very own @ava.haviley had the incredible opportunity to travel to Orlando, FL, for @alphaphiintl’s annual Leadership Institute at Walt Disney World! 🏰✨ Through this experience, Ava had the chance to learn more about leadership, culture, and creating meaningful experiences alongside Alpha Phi members from across the country.

Hear from Ava about one of her biggest takeaways from this special weekend:

“Seeing how Disney builds its culture taught me that exceptional experiences are never an accident. They’re driven by innovation and a relentless attention to detail. My biggest takeaway was the power of being proactive: great leaders model their values with authenticity, remove obstacles for their team, and lift others up before being asked. That includes recognition, which means the most when it’s delivered the way someone wants to receive it. Catching people doing things right shapes a culture far more than correcting what goes wrong.”

We are so grateful for opportunities like these that allow our members to learn, grow, and bring new ideas and inspiration back to our chapter🤍
