Thank you Frontenac track and field for the lessons and memories I will never forget. I thank God for letting my high school career end this way and knew he had a plan for me. Getting to experience this year with my amazing teammates was a huge blessing. I love all these girls and coaches and hope they know the impacts they have had on me. I loved getting to run with my sister and watch her succeed in all her events. Getting to run this past year with Emerson, Cera, Ashlynn, and Norah has been the most fun and created lifelong friendships. I am so happy that I was able to run with this 4x800 team and despite the setbacks, thankful we finished it off the right way!

senior track ✔️

wow, what a season. time really just flew by. it’s a happy kind of sad because of all the memories, the people, and the fact that my high school athletic career is officially over. this season was truly a roller coaster. it started with trying the steeplechase, which i absolutely fell in love with, followed by prs and some of the best races of my life. then i got a stress fracture, and it felt like i was held back from my full potential. but through it all, God gave me the strength to keep going, and i’m so grateful i got the chance to finish my season running the 4x8 at state and helping our team place 5th!
i’m so grateful for the past four years of high school track. i wouldn’t be the person i am today without it, or without the people it brought into my life. thank you Jesus for blessing me with the ability to run and to do something i love so much. i wouldn’t be where i am without His grace.
