✨ Celebrating The Lauren Souza Foundation’s First Grant Recipient: Ava Tetu! ✨

We are thrilled to announce that Ava Tetu, a standout sophomore at Trinity High School in Manchester, NH has been awarded The Lauren Souza Foundation’s first-ever student-athlete development grant! 💛🏐

Ava is a second-year varsity volleyball player. Her 2025 season was nothing short of exceptional — she was named to the NHVCA All-State First Team and earned a Top 10 ranking statewide, finishing 9th in total kills among all Division III varsity athletes as a sophomore, winning her Trinity’s 2025 Best Offensive Player Award.

Off the court, Ava continues to impress as an honor roll student, showing the same commitment to excellence in the classroom as she does on the court.

“My goal is to challenge myself as much as I can. I want to be a strong, consistent player who lifts everyone’s energy on the court. I also hope to inspire and support my teammates, just like Lauren supported and inspired me…..For now I want to continue to make school a priority and balance club while being academically successful. I also hope to continue playing volleyball in college, wherever I can!” -Ava

Ava’s work ethic, passion, and leadership reflect the spirit and mission of The Lauren Souza Foundation and we hope this grant will allow her to significantly enhance her athletic development and future opportunities. We couldn’t be more proud to support her journey.

👏 Congratulations, Ava!
