My heart is SO full after this weekend! ❤️🥹

The college kids came HOME, and apparently their first order of business was reporting for the BIG SURPRISE at dinner!! The girls were soooooo excited to see the bigs come in. They screamed, hugged, and wouldn’t let them go.

Ava came home from A&M, Will and Caleb came home from Texas Tech, and we even flew Reese in from Ole Miss! Sydnee, Hudson, and Holland couldn’t make it home this weekend, but they were well represented. (Thank you FaceTime!)

And what did all these big kids do? SHOWED UP FOR MY GIRLS! 🥹❤️

Cay’Lee had her belt test 🥋 and Lee’Ann got to put on her all-star uniform and show off her dance! 📣 And there were her big kids, cheering them on like they were watching the Olympics and the Super Bowl halftime show all in one weekend!

But my favorite part wasn’t the performances or even having everyone together. It was watching these college kids, who have their own busy lives, come home and still make time to love on and support my little girls. They have absolutely no idea how much that means to me or how much those little girls look up to them. ❤️

And then there’s Shawna, Rebecca, Melissa, and Val. God truly outdid Himself when He brought these people into our lives.
I will forever praise God for friendships that turn into FAMILY. The kind where you don’t have to ask people to show up. They just do. The kind where your kids become their kids, their kids become yours, and everybody is stuck with everybody whether they like it or not! 😂❤️
These are the people. These are the memories. This is the village I prayed for.
And if this weekend reminded me of anything, it’s that my girls are growing up surrounded by some pretty incredible people who will always guide them through life.

God is SO good. ❤️

Now if someone could figure out how to make these college kids stay little and never leave again, that would be great. 🥹😂
